In my opinion, this is my favourite open world game to date, i prefer this over GTA V. But I do not like to compare an Open world shooter to an Open World Batman game.

Arkham City is one of the best games to come out in years, and I can probably replay it without thinking about it at all, becuase I know I will enjoy it a lot. This game, both as a person who plays them and a person who reads comics, is seriously the best.

Pos:
-Batman.
-Combat feels brilliant and satisfying
-The Stealth segments are flippin' awesome
-Personally, the atmosphere is brilliant for a Batman game. Dark, Depressing yet eerily beautiful
-A f**king fantastic story put to video game, adding a new verse to Batman Lore
-It literally feels like the animated series
-The little easter eggs, side missions and secrets are fantastic
-Bloody great voice acting
-The side story Harley quinn's revenge is really good too

Cons:
-The Riddler side missions a bit of a b**ch to do
-Can get tedious at times finding secrets

All in all; a fantastic game for both batman fans, comic fans, general 'gamers' and casuals, Batman Arkham City is the best batman game released, which si equal to that of Asylum, I will never forget Asylum.

Quite a fun game, I just wish there were a few more players since it's very ahrd to get a gmae in this, also since most play TDM instead of something like Fumigation.

Well then, this game for me is hilarious. The concept is cool, but needs improvment. We need more interactivity, and a little more raw nature. That is all.

The game is being shut down in due time (Friday 24th November). 'Tis a massive shame it must come to an end. I should note that I stopped playing this for a while after the Blade and Magik update, and I don't regret it, as I heard that a bunch of people decided to butcher this game in ways that flipped off us veterans.

Thanks for the Fun Times, but screw the devs for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it up. ALso, it's in bad taste to just lay off your entire team before a major public holiday is to come up.

See you, Space Cowboy.

(The Thumbs down is only for the Shut DOwn and a bad ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company)

This game, is one of my favourite F2P games I have played for a long long time. Besides Warframe, I enjoy this game HIGHLY, because of this lush enjoyment and it's variety. As a fan of Marvel and Comics in General, I love seeing the references to Marvel's Lore and all sorts of Marvel things, which makes this game the more entertaining.

This game is said to be similar to Diablo III, which I haven't played so I cannot comment. Though I have played for only a short few hours (In game terms, it would be short), I have so far had fun with the Hero I had started to play with, as well as the one who I am currently levelling along side with my Mid 30's Gambit char (I got Gambit, Punisher (Defunct) and Psylocke). That being said, it can be quite a bore just levelling, but then again, this is minor due to the variety this game gives.

A few cons for me would be the Eternity Splinters, the alternative to the Pay To Win route in this game. I admit, I paid for Gambit and Psylocke because both of these characters was a major want for me. But, for something like a Team Up char, I want to use the in game alternative. Why am I complaining? because the spawns are set on a timer and they only ever spawn once every few minutes (Sorry I do not know the specifics) and you can't farm. That's fine, but I really think they should atleast add extra splinters for reasons like increased difficulty boss fights, X-Defense etc.

Another would be some forms of repition, mostly because sometimes the Midtown patrol spawns the same bosses or the same enemies without giving you more challenge. This is minor, because it can be fixed wiht a simple difficulty change from Normal to Heroic (Hard).

Overall, I really enjoy this game, and thats suprising because I never always liked Free To PLay games (AHem. APB. I am looking at you.) and I never liked Pay to Win, but this Pay to Win is a good system.

Time to add my two cents in this pot for this game.
Max Payne 3 is supposed to be based on the same premise from the last game. The game's plot is that Max is at an extremely low point in his life, where he is suffering still from the murder of his family, The Valkyr Case, and even the Cleaner case and Mona (play MP1 and 2 to find out) but also the other pains in his life that have not been resolved.
He is hired by a man by the name of Rodrigo Branco to protect him and his family, but of course, everything goes completely array and Max stumbles upon something darker than the previous games...

The story is very good. But not as good as compared to the other games. What makes this story good is the fact that Max is a more relateable character when it comes down to his emotional turmoil. His side kick (Raul Passos) I think I like a lot too. This game is also a satire and very thematic with the talks of things like Good and Evil (Personal opinion: I believe it is a Fantasy/Illusion people hide behind to show they are morally better), The Past vs the Future, Acceptance, Modern Society etc.
I did have some gripes that some of the characters (The good ones like Rodrigo's Wife's Sister, Or one of the Antagonists) weren't expanded upon.

This game also has that level of nostalgia to Max Payne 1 and 2. If you played both, like myself, you will love the tiny references put in.

When it comes down to gameplay, this game still has the original Shootdodge and BulletTime but the game then has a cover system... This is where I personally do not like the game but I love it at the same time. The game is too cover based both online and Singleplayer.

Now as for the online... It's average, but my gripes is the usage of Explosive weaponry. Grenade launchers are okay as long as they are downgraded, but this game just makes it a stun gun. My real gripe as well is the realism factor. I will also mention that the dual wielding is also kinda frustrating. A lot of people do it.

The original Paynes weren't as realistic, and more Hyper Realistic, whihc I loved. The Realism puts me off at times. Especially Online, which makes me sometimes feel frustrated.

If you are an Original Max Payne 1/2 guy, don't buy this unless you are just wanting the single player. THe Realism factor also may put you off, and the over usage of the cover system as well. If you are new, I would recommend playing this and then playing the first and second to get the full angle on the story. Then you can make up your mind.

Sleeping Dogs is my 2nd favourite free roam that I personally enjoy. This game has it all. The combat is one of the most original since the dawn of the first game in the True Crime series (This was supposed to be True Crime: Hong Kong but was cancelled by Activision, so luckily Square Enix rehashed it), the combat is very free form and fluent, and the moves are so brutal yet very elegant. The game's visuals are stunning for a free roam game, showing what would be defined as a Beautiful Nightmare by some. The story is actually for a game of this caliber, very much a good throwback to films like INfernal Affairs, The american version of it, The Departed, and other police related thrillers.

The driving is something I have love/hate with because it is supposedly simple, but hard, sometimes unecessarily hard. I am not sure if most agree there but I will understand. The Gunplay, simple, but very effective and very much a good throwback to that of such Hong Kong thrillers like Hard Boiled, The Killer and American Thrillers like The Matrix, and others I cannot remember.
If you get the chance, please get this game. It is a very much FUN game, an original free roam in it's own right and a great fighting game.
