You're a lesbian? Girl me too!

I waited 2 years for this games release.

I nearly decided to buy a PS4 to trial the beta.

When strive finally became available to download, I was in the middle of an online exam for university, and I spent time in that exam starting up the download to ensure the game would be completed.

I've liked XRD, and dabbled in it here and there. I've played a fair chunk of UNICLR, and quite a bit of SFV. This game plays nothing like XRD. In all honesty? That's perfectly fine. Strive was from the very get go going to be a very different game to its predecessor, something Daisuke mentioned in development, and that's his choice.

But ♥♥♥♥ me I hate this game's design. Visually? This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. Roster wise? A lot of really visually interesting characters. But this game genuinely plays like an inverted version of UNICLR. Everytime I try to boot it up and get remotely excited, or see a new character release I put it down like 30 seconds later because none of the combos really interest me. The online is still somewhat of a mess with matchmaking, The gameplay of most characters honestly just feels boring (Except Zato).

I think if you're new to fighting games though? This ♥♥♥♥ is crack and amazing. If you love big hits, high stake 2-3 touch combos and more grounded gameplay of guilty gear, you're going to have a good time, and I hope you do, this game is probably really fun.

But for me..... Yeah it's trash.
