This was about to be negative because of the mandatory PSN linking, however now as Sony has backtracked on this decision I post a positive one instead!

One of the best gameplay loops I've experienced in yet. Sure it got some bugs but the team at AH is constantly working at ironing them out. Can highly recommend it to every single Democracy enjoyed out there.

First thing first, I love the Total War series and has been around since Total War: Shogun. I've sunk countless hours into it and stuck through both the good and the bad, Charlemagnes, Pontus, the Warriors of Chaos paywall et cetera. But I've still come back to the games because of the itch it satisfies mixing 4x with more realtime rts. But I've had enough.

Last DLC, the Chaos Dwarfs, was awesome. The prices hiked up to a whopping ~$25, reused some mechanics under fancy new names, but it still delivered a completely new faction with awesome big hats. Compared to the previous race packs in past games this was an increase but inflation justified part of the increase, at least slightly.

But this DLC? Ridiculous. 3 new legendary lords in total. 11 new units. That's roughly half of how many new units previous lord packs offered, and they were CHEAPER than this.

Chaos Dwarfs were a best seller and one of the most popular DLCs in TW:WHs history and yet CA leads justify the increase of this puny lord pack with "costs have gone up, buy it or we maybe wont be able to financially support the game". Yeah nah mate. This is bare-bones and the minimum viable product for it to be rated as a DLC pack. If CA want us to keep supporting the game, support the fanbase and think of the goodwill. This is just a greedy coin-grabbing scheme so deceptive and foul that both the non-existing ratmen and Greasus himself would be impressed.

Had it been a new cool faction(I mean, making Cathay from scratch is epic, not gonna lie) and a new area for the global map I probably would have shoved my money at CA the moment it got released, but this MO makes me want to uninstall Total War: Warhammer 3 completely.

One of the best turn-based games on the market. Just don't name your soldiers after you and your mates, they'll just die.

I had an entire army of flaggellants and the friggin pope. They constantly died, but it was so worth it.

It's a wierd dlc, but adds to the satisfaction of littering the battlefield with the mangled, bloodied corpses of your enemies.

A shamefur dispray!

This is not the way you're supposed to handle DLC. DLC is not supposed to be "Day one", nor is the DLC supposed to be the access of something that was completely playable and fleshed-out on launch. Clearly, this is something SEGA and CA pulled off in order to make us give them even more money within the first week of launch.

So yeah, the DLC practice they're currently using is complete and utter rubbish. Being the Warhammer + Total War nerd I am, I bought it on day one. But I feel sorry for all those buying the game later on. "Oh hey, here's a completely awesome faction to play against. Hey look at that majestic Kholek Sun-Eater, tearing through your armies. Totally awesome. Instead of getting crushed by him, want to play as him? TOO BAD GIVE US MONEY"
It's kind of a bad business practice, and the sheeple (me included) keeps buying it because the concept of playing as all the awesome Warhammer factions is too cool to say no to. And the game has been in development for quite a while, with a total of six factions completed on day one? I wouldn't complain if you were able to play as all of these, without having to pay for DLC, on day one. I'll probably gladly buy the next race packs as well, but that's because I'm a sucker for Warhammer.

This DLC nonsense has to stop. Hopefully they'll open their eyes and realize that this is a perfect way of pissing off your playerbase.

Gameplay-wise, the Warriors of Chaos are an awesome faction. Brings back memories of playing the hordes of the old games. I'd totally recommend it to anyone, if it wasn't for the lousy DLC practices.

I love this game. It is a great game, awesome co op action with a lot of screaming and running around with your friends, messing stuff up. I bought the game around its release, and even though I've only played 139 hours compared to many others 2000ish, I can say that I don't regret playing one single hour of this game. I've bought most(if not all) of the DLCs when they got released, because who doesn't wan't a flamethrower in the arsenal, or a Irish girl in the posse? Hell, I even got the soundtrack DLC just because of that effin' cool cyberman helmet. And these I bought at the DLC launches. I don't even want to know how much money I've spent on this game. Can't keep my wallet shut until the sales.

And now this power play starts creeping in, alongside with weapon rebalancing. It's like Overkill goes "Oh, you worked hard for this machine gun? Well it's NERFED NOW!" And so on and so forth. Pistols overpower my beloved shotguns among other wierd and uncalled for changes.

Microtransactions. Micro. Bloody. Transactions. I got so glad when you announced that there were to be NO microtransactions in this game, I guess that might have been one of the reasons to me buying all the DLC. I know the link has been up before, but I'll post it again. http://i.imgur.com/wQCwAyd.png

"Oh, I see your gun sucks. Well, if you pay us 3$ you can buy a drill that opens a safe and then it MIGHT be a bit better!"

So we're doing crimefest to celebrate you bringing microtransactions into the game? Good Move. Goooood move.

Shame on you Overkill. Shame. You should be more ashamed than Cersei Lannister doing her walk of shame through Shametown. May the nun of shame forever walk behind your back.
