Death stranding is not a bad game purely because it is tedious and annoying, annoying the player is not a bad thing nor are the mechanics of death strandings early game. Many people will be frustrated by the seemingly boring and annoying gameplay but those that stick with it will find that as you progress your connection of the world become more literal as you and other players craft highways and roads to make the journey easier. Additionally saying that "walking simulators" aren't inherently bad games just look at Dear Ester, A Night In The Woods, Stanley Parable, Amnesia the dark decent, ect.
