Revelio! Revelio! Revelio!
Here it is… My first impressions after 5 hours of gameplay.
https://youtu.be/0KMwEy5t_7o

Atm, I am at 25 hours in and I am loving it. If you are not in a rush, wait for a 10-20% discount deal. Usually, AAA title deals come between 3-6 months.

If you want to buy it now, remember that it is an open-world game and comes with:
1) Character progression through levels (40)
2) A lot of collectibles
3) A lot of side quests
4) A lot of dialogue
5) Minimal inventory management
And a lot of REVELIO!!!! Hahaha...

If you don't like one of these characteristics, think about it before buying.

In the video, there are some more details of my experience.

I played Expedition Zero for 5 hours and by the end, I decided on keep playing or not.

Gameplay Overview:
You are alone, in an endless freezing night and THINGS ARE HUNTING YOU. To get out of this place you need to complete missions, collect materials, craft upgrades and fight for your life!

Expedition Zero is a scary, horror first-person shooter game that will make you play on the tips of your toes, and being alert won’t save you from getting scared.

Game mechanics, HUD, UI, Story… Every element of the game is SIMPLE AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND, with one exception… How to fight those freaking things that don’t stop screaming!

Besides that, there are some bugs in the game that will hopefully be fixed before it is released.

Did I keep playing after 5 hours of gameplay?

Hey guys, I played AWAY for 7 hours and wasn’t able to complete 100% of the game because of existing bugs. Here are my toplines of the game review:

1. You are a 6 months old sugar glider living an adventure in a post-apocalyptic world.
2. Game can be completed in 5 to 8 hours of gameplay
3. AWAY has 2 game modes: STORY and EXPLORATION.
4. The game has constant bugs, glitches, and performances issues that harm the gameplay experience.
5. AWAY is not worth US$ 29.99.

I played Lost in Random for 17 hours and completed 100% of the game. Here are my toplines and a glimpse of the game review:

1. Lost in Random is an Action, Adventure, and Card & Board game, a blend of genres and mechanics.
2. It is a story-based game, a real fairy tale, full of dialogues to choose from.
3. The combat system is a mixture of action and card and board.
4. The game can be considered short based on the price tag.

--

Not just a blend of things and genres, Lost in Random is a mixture of feelings.

How much one hour of gameplay is worth?
One dollar?
Five bucks?

I think 99% of us would say it depends on each one’s likings of a game. But how to ratio likings vs hours vs money?! And how to add free-to-play games to that equation?

Lost in Random is not free-to-play and can be 100% completed in approximately 15 hours. THE GAME DELIVERS EVERYTHING YOU CAN EXPECT. It draws you into the story and every game element fits perfectly to each other. As good as the game can be, it can also be considered short at the cost of US$29.99.

How will you know? I can answer this question with another question: what’s the size of your pocket?

Early Access Review
I played Bloodhunt for 25 hours and completed +80 matches in solo mode. Here are my toplines and a glimpse of the game review:

1. Bloodhunt is a free-to-play Battle Royale game in which you are a vampire.
2. Because of the performance issues, it is not ready for Early Access Stage.
3. It is a fast-paced game, camping and hiding is not a viable strategy to win games.
4. Full game potential was "shadowed" by all performance issues.

Bloodhunt has a huge potential based on the proposed gameplay experience but IS NOT READY for an Early Access release. After "accepting" the game wouldn't work as it should, it was fun to play.

BH doesn’t allow you to "camp" or hide and engaging in combat is extremely risky as you will be third, fourth, or even "fifty-partied". It will take some hours of gameplay to learn how the balance between being ultra-aggressive and waiting the right moment to push.

But, if there is something to love about BH is the initial COMMITMENT OF ITS DEVELOPERS to build a community by listening to criticism, acknowledging mistakes, and delivering fast responses. That experience brought hope that this game after a couple of months will be smooth to play.

I played Naraka: Bladepoint for 25 hours and completed +100 matches in solo and trio modes. Here are my toplines and a glimpse of the game review:

1. The UI is the weakest point about the game, feels outdated, unfinished but fixable.
2. Mobility and melee combat is the “centerpiece” of the game.
3. As you climb the ranking system, the game quickly becomes tough, and just mashing buttons won’t take you further.
4. The game offers much more than what the price tag asks for.

There is no way you can go wrong with Naraka: Bladepoint, you get what you buy: Melee Combat Battle Royale. Both genres are well-known and any hesitation about it can be solved with all free-to-play options there are out there.

BR is crowded with shooters options and different variations of the same. Last year, the genre “opened up” to the Fall Guys phenomenon and game developers have shown BR can be much bigger than already is.

Naraka: Bladepoint is far from being as revolutionary as Fall Guys was, but it is part of the unstoppable transformation of the genre.

I played Hood for 25 hours, reached account level 58 of 100. Here are my toplines and a glimpse of the game review:

1. Hood is an EARLY ACCESS game and not a full release as it was marketed.
2. The game feels unfinished for various reasons, including bugs, matchmaking issues, and lack of features.
3. It's a 4v4 game that adds stealth tactical gameplay to the action of the genre.
4. There are only 4 characters to pick from and no ranking system.
5. Tag price is not worth what the game offers.

Hood: Outlaw & Legends is an EARLY ACCESS game and it is not worth US$ 30.00 at its current state. The idea and game concept are appealing, the execution is unfinished. And not just because of the various bugs, gameplay exploits, and lack of a structured UI.

How can a 4v4 competitive game entitle itself as a full release having only 4 characters to choose from or without having a ranking system?

The game FEELS INCOMPLETE when your team has in its composition 3 or 2 of the same character or when progression is limited to characters and account XP progression.

A PVP game developed perfectly, free of bugs and with great gameplay mechanics can be a complete failure. While a half well-done PVP game can be a huge success.

Different from PVE games, PVP games have one more crucial variable, the COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT. What's the size of the player base? Are they friendly or toxic? What's their average skill level? What's their playtime average? How long does it take to find a match?

The Competitive Environment is key to players' gameplay experience as this is the variable responsible for creating the "unpredictable". And there is a fine balance to create a perfect Competitive Environment.

I played QL for 25 hours, a total of +100 matches. Here are my review toplines:

1. Quantum League is a 1v1 and 2v2 shooter arena with a twist: time loop + bunny hopping.
2. Every ranked match has 3 rounds and each round has 3 loops. What you do in the first loop repeats itself to the next 2 loops.
3. The game has been in Early Access for approx. one year and the player base is still small.
4. At ranked matches, you will constantly play against the same player.

Little Nightmares II is a great example of why we shouldn't just read game review scores.

Is it a game that should score between 8 and 10?
YES!

Should you buy it?
Answer this question with another question: How much is worth one hour of gameplay for you?

I can see a lot of people seeing that high scores on the game cover, buying the game for US$30.00, and being frustrated after finishing the game in 6 to 10 hours of gameplay.

The score wasn't wrong, it just doesn't factor in the essential information: is it worth buying it or not? As the majority of the game reviews are made of text blocks and screenshots, most of us just don't read them and got used to understand that high scores equal, worth buying.

I played LN2 for 10 hours and completed 100% of the game. Here are my review toplines:

1. Little Nightmares 2 is a spooky puzzle adventure game and getting scared is a possibility that’s always there.
2. To beat the game you need to complete all 5 chapters of the story. Puzzles' difficulty varies from easy to hard.
3. The story pulls you into the game as few are able to do.
4. The game is short for the price it asks for.

Cyberpunk 2077 is NOT READY and is not worth US$ 60.00 at its current state.

The hype CD Projekt RED built around CP2077 is proportional to the gaming community deception. We would be fine and supportive if THE TRUTH ABOUT THE STATE of the game was told.

8 years of waiting, no one left.
3 major release delays, no one left.
Multiplayer being pushed to 2021, no one left.

The choice of not setting expectations right makes CP2077 one of the MOST FRUSTRATING GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCES a player can have.

Review toplines:
1. Cyberpunk 2077 is not ready and is not worth US$ 60.00 at its current state.
2. Bugs, crashes, and performance issues were constant during the 25 hours of gameplay.
3. There is a huge variety of things to do, grinding is not a game factor.
4. The gameplay experience is a mix of fun and frustration feelings.
5. The game has a huge potential to be a +500 hours game in the future.
