OLD REVIEW (Post escalation of freedom update):
Chitin does not have a melting point, but the strongest chitin found on a bug (the ironclad beetle) has a degrading point of 200-250 degrees celsius. Flamethrowers can burn at ~500-800 degrees celsius. Lets imagine Super Earth has the best flamethrower tech, the highest recorded celsius output for a flamethrower ever made is around ~1500 degrees celsius. Napalm burns even hotter or around that. A 9mm or a .45 round would bounce off a solid block of ice, FLAMES WOULD MELT IT TO A PUDDLE! Making flames negligible where 'bounce off is expected' is NOT realistic!! This change was made in the name of 'realism'! (source: under miscellaneous fixes in the latest patch notes). Indirectly nerfing one of my favourite ways to kill bugs SUCKS and it's even more annoying that they claim for it to be REALISTIC.

Bugs are also organic. They would start to suffocate IN SECONDS as the carbon monoxide, unburned hydrogen atoms and vaporised gasoline floods their system and prevents their entire body from taking in oxygen either through their tracheae or spiracles - this would either immobilise them and eventually kill them completely. Flamethrowers are extremely lethal and from a gameplay perspective, has extreme drawbacks (no stagger or movement interruption, very likely to set yourself or your teammates on fire, long reload time and requires very long extended fire to fulfil the highest damage range that it can achieve, almost a whole magazine's worth)

This change is ridiculous. I'm tired of AH nerfing ♥♥♥♥ and making stupid changes. Slugger also caught strays, justice for the slugger.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful, I'd rather eat the 2 cents my friend paid to buy me this game. The physics are horrible (I can't even kill zombies, they just eat my bullets) and the game lags so hard I could take a ♥♥♥♥ inbetween them. This game is an unoptimised ripoff of unturned and is literally unplayable, do not waste your 2 cents or dollar on this piece of crap.
