A true classic, and one helluva game back in the day if you're into slow, planned out tactics. But the port is so shoddily done that it's not worth the time. Crashes, poor performance optimization and interface bugs make it effin' annoying.

What could possibly go wrong here? OCD-style gathering, turn-based combat, your own home, dialogues seasoned with dry nihilism . I mean, "Well, you spent so much time being a loser, that you didn't have any time to kill or steal. "? That's the story of my life, ffs

So the glitched screens seem fixed now. The game deserves a positive review, Kid Chameleon-ish platformer with lots of options to choose from (and a Dead Cells reference to boot!)

When I got this game, I had little expectations. It looked like just another platformer with a cute protagonist, but it turned out to be one of the best games I've ever played. The gameplay is very, very smooth, the game is adequately hard and it's extremely well-polished. The free expansions were a huge bonus (I'd have paid for each of them unthinkingly), but the game has touched something else with me. The soundtrack, visual style and the story convey a sense of loneliness and bereavement that fit my mood like a glove.

A true classic. I wasn't going to drop a review... it's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it.

Between gorgeous artwork and amazing music, the artistic side of this game couldn't get much better. Gameplay takes some time to get used to, but it does its job in the end. Overall, loved the game.

Now, this feels like Quake indeed, just as I remember it. The game also runs smoothly on my poor man's machine, despite longish loading times. The champions are varied enough to give broad access to different play styles.

My dealbreaking qualm, tho, is with the matchmaking system. Either they made a very advanced algorithm and don't have enough players for it to work, or it's a crappy one and they just couldn't care less. It's either a VERY easy win for your side or a VERY frustrating loss - balanced games are a true rarity, but when they can be found, it's an awesome experience. A shame it's 1 in 20.

Another annoying "feature" is the deathmatch/instagib vote - that's a bad joke on the players. I've seen a lot of people (myself included) just quitting when the vote does not match what they were intending to play. The justification that it "improves queue time" is particularly nasty when you have to enter multiple queues to play the game you'd like. Separate queues made a whole lot more sense.

This one was quite fun to play! Hard but not near-impossible, the procedural generation works as intended 99.9% of the times, the soundtrack fits it like a glove. The voice acting was a really nice touch, loved it.

The different salvage frames you can pilot have very distinct gameplay styles, giving the game a lot of replay value. The RNG can be pretty mean at times, just as it can be generous (gives random a good name!). There's plenty of different gear to choose from, giving lots of loadout possibilities. That said, there are a few weapons that probably should see a nerf (I'm looking at you, Prism Laser and Advanced Smart Gun), and the items do not stand out (I usually put suit upgrades or healthpacks in the slots, or nothing at all, anyways).

This is a game I'd buy the sequel, even if it was more of the same.
