First off I should start with snootgame. When I first played the game it hit me rather hard. It highlighted parts about myself I didn't like and ignored. The first ending I got was ending 3. In that particular ending the player grows but Lucy, the romantic interest, doesn’t. I've always tried to be nice and considerate as a person, but in the past I never tried to go any farther beyond that and see what others needed. I struggled for a while to get the best ending until I decided to look it up. Finding out that I need to let others grow and not just do everything myself was a difficult thing for me but I eventually got it done and got the best ending and it was well worth it. Between the bad endings and the bonus content I saw parts of characters I didn't know and eventually a lot of the game became clearer to me.

As for I Wani Hug That Gator, I connected with the characters a lot more. Even just playing the demo got me attached to the characters most notably Olivia. I saw a lot of myself in her. I hated when others asked if I needed help because of my ADHD even if it was to my detriment. I was quiet and reserved, and still am, not because I don't want to talk but because of anxieties and irrational fears. Her growth through this game is something I've always wanted to be able to do. Seeing how I got the 4th ending first I know I wasn't the same as when I played snootgame. But now I realize I still have a ways to go. These games will always have a special place in my heart, despite how cheesy or edgy they can be.
