There is also Mementos, the mega dungeon where the hand crafted nature of the rest of the game is dropped for a procedurally generated series of floors. In the original version of the game this was pretty tedious and it got a bad reputation because of it. In Royal it is much improved and people playing this version of the game for the first time will likely have a far more enjoyable experience. Every few floors the theming changes, albeit fairly minorly, and there is a system for increasing the experience, money, and items earned by exploring.
Having the option to set the type of buttons you want for controller users is nice too, surprisingly few games let you just choose which prompts you want displayed. There are options for Xbox, PS4, PS5, and Switch Pro controller. Unlike every other version of the game there are separate audio sliders present in this version as well, which is just nice to have compared to the other version's single volume slider.
