Feels like a game that was released somewhere between Fallout 3 and Skyrim in terms of innovation and stuff.
Quests are basically fetch type and your dialogue choices have pretty much no consequences.
There are some interesting skills you can unlock and few weapons are okay.
If you want to play immersive RPG this is sadly not for you, but it has its charm if you are fine with Bethesda level of gameplay which is basically the same since Oblivion.
In terms of "smooth gameplay" be ready to spend lots, and I mean A LOT of time in loading screens, for example you fast travel to another solar system you have to watch loading screen and then you choose to land on a planet you have to look at another loading screen... and so on and on
I don't believe that to achieve something like this game wasn't possible few years back as Bethesda claims.
After experiencing Starfield I stopped being hyped so muxh for next Elders Scrolls game.
There is literally 0 innovation in this small indie company since 2010 seems like.

So in order to be able to play the game you are forced to link/create PSN account and after that game be like "Thank you for linking your PSN account, here is your free outfit for Aloy hihi" like I had choice.
Well after painful 10 minutes of tring to create another useless account on another useless platform which I will never use I was finally able to run the game and to my surprise I was able to continue in previous save in non remastered game but becasue of this remaster thing being a separate game for some reason it meant I won't be getting any previous achviements I unlocked already and that makes me sad a bit.
Now about performance
Game might look slightly better but at cost of low framerate in certain locations because of poor optimization I assume, like in open world going trough forest at night I do not notice any FPS drops or anything but in some closed areas I am dropping more than half of my framerate just because of some pixelated smoke/fog particles.
Very cool.
I have no idea why did I bought this thing but maybe in few years it will be optimized more and I will complete the game.
I do not recommend buying it, rather buy original version.
And if you are thinking about upgrading from original version imo it is not worth the price, maybe only if you completed every achviement and want to do it again with worse performance do it then.

First they made a laggy mess on Unreal Engine 4 which took more than half year to fix into somewhat playable state and now they decided to bloat it with some kernel level anticheat.
