It's got a curve, especially if your unfamiliar with poker hands in general - I know I was - but god it's addicting. Runs that "win" are short, but you can take any deck you win with and continue on into an endless mode, while not forfeiting the win unlike other roguelikes.
The premise is simple - form poker hands to score points. But you have other things that can affect the score - Jokers that multiply the score if its certain suits, Tarot cards that modify cards to be Glass, Planet cards to buff the base level and base score of your hands - that you can really build any way. Decks themselves are different - some remove all the face cards ( Q/K/J ), some completely randomise the contents of the deck, and others just give you one extra discard.

When you get past the initial curve, it's fun. It's very fun, and if you ever get stuck on remembering what Hands do what, or their scoring -- there is a button that shows you the hands, their base scores, how many times you played it (which does matter for some cards!) and other important stuff in the run.
Big recommend :>

Fun, deceptive FPS/Stealth Hybrid. Devs are very communicative, the world and music is just phenomenal. New Player Experience could be improved, but the devs do actively listen to the community and work to improve it. Hard to pick up initially, but it is very, very good.

fun game, nice learning curve. Very team co-ordinated.

Queues on teen side are a little long, but that's fine really. MMR at the minute is a little scuffed, but the game only just came out and there is a slight lack of Monster players.

Just note, if you come from DBD - do not play it like DBD, nor treat it as such. You will lose if you do.

its a game. which is difficult. and is a rogue-lite [single zones] or rogue-like [all zones]. but you have to do everything to the beat of a song.

great ost's, a helpful community, and a great art style. the game itself has a variety of characters that each have a quirk that alters the basic formula. Bard, for example, removes the beat restriction.

fun game would recommend.

Ah, Little Nightmares; probably one of the most hyped games I know. Yes, I AM late to the party, but oh well. Little Nightmares is one of those games that DOESN'T need dialogue to get the story across. You play as Six; a young girl trapped in a hellhole known as the Maw (which is apparently the sanest place on Earth) in an alternate universe. You must run and hide your way through 5 areas; The Prison, The Lair, The Kitchen, The Guest Area and finally, The Lady's Quarters. The game has a nice amount of achievements, BUT the game is better played with a controller, as I struggled with a keyboard. Guides are useful if you struggle to find the Nomes and Dolls.

10/10. (I will get the Secrets of The Maw DLC when I can, and write a review for that :D)

Ah. Tattletail, the thing that makes me fear Furbies (damn laugh...). I, at the time of writing, am at the first death point; when you put Tattletail back in his box in the 3rd chapter.

The game itself does a brilliant job at setting the mood, with loud noises, dramatic music, and that atsmopheric background music makes for perfect moments for Mama Tattletail to come jumpscare you.

Not sure if theres a pause feature, however. I don't believe there is.

Ah, Undertale. The RPG where your actions matter. The game which has a massive fandom. The game which has awesome music. Each character is unique, even the monsters you encounter randomly. Here's a rundown of my experience with this game. Warning - Possible Spoilers!

STORY

You play as Frisk, one of 7 children. 6 others have fallen down Mount. Ebott before you, and (in the year 201X) you fall down the mountain. You have to explore the underground to escape, whilst surviving monsters and making friends.

CHARACTERS

Flowey - Flowey is the first character you meet, and seems friendly. However, the tide quickly turns when you go and reach for one of the Friendleness Pellets, as he tells you the iconic phrase "In this world, it's kill or be killed!". He then nearly kills you, but the next character saves you. He can be seen stalking the player, however. His theme is titled 'Your Best Friend'.

Toriel - Ex-Queen of the Underground, and ex-wife of Asgore Dreemurr. She is a loving character, who wishes to protect you from the monster that has slayed 6 children to use their souls to escape. She is over protective however. Her theme is titled 'Heartache', and thats understandable.

Sans - Ah, the grinning, pun-loving, short and lazy skeleton. He has become an iconic character for this series, show any gamer whos heard of Undertale this guy and they will probably recognise him. He helps you survive his younger brother (who is taller then him). He has two themes - 'sans.' and 'Megalovania', the second theme being his theme during a Genocide route.

Papyrus - Sans' younger brother, and one whos obsessed with entering the Royal Guard. He has a love for spaghetti and puzzles, and you can even date him. He hates Sans when he makes puns, being lazy and just being distracted from looking out for humans. His theme is called 'Bonetrousle'.

Undyne - The warrior fish who is determined to capture your soul and break the barrier with Asgore. She is the leader of the Royal Guard, and will stop at nothing to kill you. (You can befriend her though, so thats good.) She also has two themes - 'Spear of Justice' and 'Battle Against a True Hero', the second one being her Genocide route theme.

Alphys - The small, anime obsessed, in love with a fish scientist lizard! She is extremely shy, and is the Royal Scientist. She, herself, doesnt have a boss battle but is responsable for creating Mettaton. Her theme is 'Alphys' and (fun fact) she is in love with Undyne (Alphyne FTW!)

Mettaton - The robot that has three forms! The glamour freak, the death machine, the guardian. His first form is one of a box, and in this form he hosts numerous shows for the Underground (such as Cooking with a Killer Robot and MTT's Quiz Show). His second form is called Mettaton EX, and damn is he a pain to fight. His final form is called Mettaton Neo, and this form replaces EX during a Genocide run. His themes are - 'Metal Crusher', 'Death by Glamour' and 'Power of Neo'

Asgore - The king of the Underground, and the man who has killed six children before you. He doesn't want to kill, but he must as there is no other way to destroy the barrier containing the monsters down beneath the ground. His two themes are 'Bergentruckung' (this plays during an opening dialoge before the fight) and 'ASGORE' - His true theme.

??? - The son of Toriel and Asgore, and you see him first as Flowey. His true name is Asriel, prince of the Underground. He has two themes : 'His Theme' and 'Hopes and Dreams' - He is also the final True Pacifist Route boss.

ROUTES

Pacifist - The route where you harm no one, help everyone, and battle Asriel
Neutral - No matter what, unless you kill everyone, this is your first route. You battle Omega Flowey, who has stolen the six souls and needs one more before becoming a god.
Genocide - Possibly the longest route out of the three, you 'farm' each area until no monsters remain (you will know this as in your next battle after every monster in that area has gone, it will say 'But nobody came.'). It also has the hardest boss - Sans. I need to tell you, you will have a bad time near the end of this run.

GAMEPLAY, GRAPHICS AND MUSIC

Overall, the gameplay is fun. Simple controls, works with a controller (which I recommend if you have small arrow keys), however WASD doesn't work - It has to be the four arrow keys. Z is your button to use items/choose something, X is to go back, and C is the menu for when you are not in a fight.

The graphics resemble those of old games, and it works brilliantly with each character design. Despite Frisk themselves don't have much animation, I think it works well with the neutral and genderless character.

Each piece of music is unique. With a total of 101 songs, each track will leave you wanting to either hear it again, or listen to the rest of the 2 hours and 10 minute soundtrack.

REVIEW

Overall, I love this game. It's one unlike many. 10/10.

Brillaint. It's hilarious when you both don't know what the heck to do :D. Thing is, the main problem you deal with is not starving. But hey, it's Don't Starve! And it's bloody good fun :D.

Hello! From my small amount of time I have spent playing this game, I loved it! The humour is clear, the characters are unique and best of all, Claptrap- I mean guns! It just isn't about damage, its about DPS! (Also, if you want good weapons early, use SHiFT codes. BUT they will be for the level your at (ie 7, 20, etc.))

Overall, Brilliant game Gearbox!
