Very approachable software that I'd recommend everyone try their hand at. Experimenting with it and learning all the in's and out's has been a lot of fun and I'm proud of the things I've been able to create so far!

Really excited to see where this software goes from here! It's already so good!

The gameplay loop is very very addictive, along with the visual design, audio and soundtrack.
There have been some missteps with the direction they were initially taking the game, but these are slowly being ironed out and I think the future of the game is bright.
That said, without even thinking of the future, this game is already a lot of fun and easy to lose time in.

My boyfriend plays this literally every opportunity he gets.
At this point he's on my account more than I am.

I think that's a good enough indicator that the game is fun.

Absolutely amazing depth of choice. A must buy for any fan of tabletop RPGs!
A heads up that it can be pretty tough though!

EDIT: After another playthrough, with a deep dive into the game's lore and storytelling, I can confirm that I really am in love with this game.

It's cute, it's gay and it's free. You don't need my recommendation, just download it.

One of the greatest soundtracks I've ever listened to.
It's haunting, beautiful and melancholy, and yet despite being so good it blends into the background so well that you forget it's there. The soundtrack of Disco Elysium is inseparable from the game, with the distant horns blending naturally with the setting, feeling almost like the national anthem for a dying or dead country.
I struggle to imagine a game I've played where the soundtrack has been as effective as this one. Whilst there are surely soundtracks that are more fun to sit and listen to, be they epic and bold or catchy, they just don't have the soul and connection that Disco Elysium's has.

Endlessly replayable, subtle storytelling (my favourite kind), visually and audibly charming

Only game I've played where I died and had to start over purely because I had the audacity to ask a druid to heal me.

Best RPG I've played in a long time. I want to say best I've played ever but I'm still high on the hype after my second playthough, so that might make me biased.

Skill system is genius, having the skills almost be their own characters, interacting with you and each other at all times in conversations. I've never seen anything like it and hope it's the start of something. Plus, having a low stat in something isn't always a bad thing. After running a very logical character the first time around I loved seeing the other-worldy things my second character faced due to high Shivers + Internal Empire and low Logic.

The Thoughts are also a nifty thing. Always feels like I've discovered a secret when a new possible thought is unlocked. Making sure to read them carefully to weigh whether or not it would be beneficial, a hindrance, or useless to me after internalising it (♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you Homosexual Underground!)
Would love to see more from the Thought system in the future.

The story, the art, the music, it's all absolutely fantastic and I can't wait to play this game again and again because I know I'll find something new every time.

Also, as a final note, this is the first game I've ever played where I've 'failed' or 'made mistakes' and just lived with it. Not reloaded a save. Since those mistakes felt 'canon' and often lead in directions I hadn't expected, making the game all the more interesting. How on earth the writers planned for all of the possibilities (including my level of stupidity) is beyond me.

For fans of classic RPGs, good narratives or simply something new and experimental, this is the game for you.

Good core gameplay loop, surprisingly a lot to do and charming aesthetic.

Oh and I can be gay in it too, which is a plus.
