any chance you could sign mine?
I actually wanted to go through the VTFs and VMTs for Waxy Wayfinder, but unfortunately, I don't own the hat in the game yet, and neither could I find the files in my TF directory. Any workaround to this ?
And thanks a lot for helping it. Appreciated ! :)
It's been awhile since I worked on this...let's see if I can remember. The self illumination gradient look on the candle is actually handled by the alpha channel. It was very tricky for me to setup paintability and self illumination at the same time, but if you look at my VMT file you'll see what I did. The RGB values that you'll see in there were actually to set the default yellow-ish color. The VTFs themselves are all grayscale. I hope this helps!
I would like some help regarding having to put a glow halo around an item. I have added you so I can discuss the same with you. If you are not open to having a chat, it would be alright if you could elaborate a bit, on how did you manage to get the glow, by having a gradient fade out glow. I managed to have the fade work out by checking the Self Illumination on and setting the RGB values to 0,0,0 so that the fade out works but now my object does not glow in the dark due to the same reason. Would be great if you could help out a bit. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Cheers !
