The Enchanted Garden truly makes this game feel like an endless experience, where you can continue to improve (and decorate) your shop, beyond the limited alchemy machine upgrades. Allowing you to have a consumable pool of herbs and crystals that can be used for exploration and discovery, while having a consistent flow of more basic plants that can be used as the backbone to your alchemy.

Amazing space sim, like taking all the parts of multiplayer space sims like EVE Online or Elite Dangerous and condensing it into a very enjoyable singleplayer experience that cuts out all the grinding.

UPDATE: Changing login requirements months after launch, completely locking players in certain regions out of playing the game is an incredibly scummy thing to do. I can no longer recommend a game that is willing to lock players out of playing a game they possibly invested hundreds of hours into already on a whim. Let the below stand as a recommendation of the game BEFORE this change of policy.

UPDATE 2: Sony has reversed their decision to enforce PSN accounts for PC players. Helldivers everywhere rejoice in the win for liberty!

An honestly fun horde shooter with friends or randoms. 'Strategems' as your special abilities that require a level of concentration on button combos to execute rather than a single button press, leaning into the more intense moments where a well timed call-in may be the difference between life or death.

While live service games are ragged on rather frequently, usually for good reason, Helldivers 2 does it in a way that both works with the community on the story progression side, as well as feeling fair with obtaining premium currency without paying on the unlocks side.
