If you're unfamiliar with Ghost Trick, this is a fine way to introduce yourself to it but it's pretty blatantly obvious that it's a touched up port of a DS/iOS game. UI elements are absolutely massive, character animations that used to run at ~24 FPS now run at 60 with some occasional notable jumps and hitches, and certain background elements don't even look like they were upscaled. If you already know the game inside and out, you get nice high-res graphics and the option of a remastered OST that is mostly really on-point, and can unlock full scene portraits and a music test by playing the game again -- although I can't tell, but two of the music tracks might have been locked behind preorder DLC?

As for the game itself, it's known mostly as that cult classic DS game by the Ace Attorney studio trying their hand at a new property, and while it was a bit of a sales flop, is well-regarded for good reason. It's one of my favourite stories ever told, all of the characters are absolutely amazing, there's some masterful misdirection to keep you guessing at the biggest twists, and the moment-to-moment puzzle gameplay is at least on par with the Ace Attorney courtroom segments, without the constant retracing your steps and wondering where you missed a progression flag. I'd rather not say more than that, it's best experienced going in blind.

And for the people complaining about the price, it costs as much now as it did when it was on the DS. Age has absolutely not devalued this game and it is a new port, so I don't see the problem. Denuvo on a port of a 13-year old game that wasn't a commercial success, on the other hand... Nevermind Denuvo, now Capcom's replaced it with some shady Russian DRM that may or may not be malware. Just get it on Switch unless Capcom unscrews their head from their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in time to fix this.
