This game don't make any sense and make reason to try hard what so ever
there must be someone already did some cheat to skip this game right? heh you wrong!

what interesting here is they use the same engine on a2/warzone to do tower def game so the result is...

15 hour+ of coding and looking for offset in the game and fine tune them from crash

10 hour afk auto play every LV in the game (and it sly have nothing in there...)

what a pain engine to deal with

2nd Yohane game with a little more budget at what cost?

To be honest with my review let be clear 90% of my playtime is reverse engineering this game as for 10% this game have a very little content to offer so one you got a "broken deck build of your choice" then it will end super fast

This game is a good example of "keep it balanced with minimum effort"
-2 Main deck(balance,power)
-Minimum voice over
-Minimum 3D model and everything else is 2D
actually it a brilliant idea as you never know it may over budget or not
*Did you know that the reflection in the fortune telling orb is upside down? [bug]

Well then is this game worth a try?
Sure it fun but may be not for the price they are asking for (i think most of us just want to support them for the 3rd game. may be it will look more like a pc game next time)

As for DLC...they just went full greed mode and for some reason they just leave a full working content in there just to only sell a part of them it like ...what are they waiting for? (or they know it not gonna have any sale at that price anyway)

so ONLY ever buy a DLC if they got a massive sale or you have sold your kidney

Please Stop going greed mode and make a proper PC game then you can sell it like 60-70$ as long as it reasonable enough we all want to see the 3rd game not just milk it to dead

Worth it

Not only it bring a big potion of QOL(mean that some mod won't be need anymore) it also add ?"true end"? sort of?

Well it buggy....on the last boss fight but it worth the money for sure

at first i want to give this game a negative if someone stop play it within 1 h i guess they will do just that.

this game require a controller there is no KB&mouse support not that i hate it but you will hate the game that always ask you to do "R2" stress test all the time
from the game-play point this game completely fail it you got NOTHING from the suffer you have face no reward no upgrade you got NOTHING FROM IT! not only that, this game also don't have a MAP! many time i find myself don't know where to go next+if player die/fall off sometime the check point is 10 KM away and you have to suffer running from A-->B again not including jump/etc

Story is simple as human steal some 'Pokemon' you are task to bring them all back to save your kin

The only thing that stop me from giving a negative review for this game is it LV design it just INSANE surely must be where all the budget went to

Dlc that don't make your life better but suffer!

i mean it good to add animal that produce food but at least consider what is this game about a bit will you?
if anything this will be consider a late game quest and require to waste a lot of day to progress
some quests can't even complete out or order and stack on top of each other NOT to mention what they ask you to do is a pain in the....for someone who want to run away from the government.

Would i recommend this? likely not but if you want some new content&have a free time to waste then Sure.

for such a budget and small team i can give them a big respect for doing this much

if you know what madness is this is what it is you know the deal
the very interesting thing in this one would be arena mode where you play an endless loop untill it not worth you time and it kind of fun that i mess a lot with the game engine only to find out how fragile it is to crash
you fire too fast? i quit
you swing the sword too fast? i quit
you want to move all enemy in one place? how about i don't spawns anything anymore
etc...
i know that it mean cheat but i just to do the loop faster or will fall to sleep first...and i quit
(and i finally done it with just ~2h per loop without any crash)

anyway it an enjoyable game that i can very recommend anyone to play

Likely not mean to be play alone and it very recommend to play with friend to get the best fun

Story is good arts is nice sound almost everything is worth the game price
except....the game play itself here for example
-character got stuck to the WALL,in the DOOR between room(and then it got saved....F up***)
-kill command (by knife)cannot be cancel when order is give(if too close)
-sometime command [may/may not] work even more with plan mode
-clean up the minefield require some ZOOM else they will just walk oven and gameover
-physic bug that make dead enemy weapon to fly away from the body
-force teleport without checking for player state like if one character still climbing ladder then you trigger a cut scene the game will just move that character as is so now it will climbing in mid air and stuck

Also trying to solo this game while control more then 2 character at the same time is a pain....real pain....they are so stupid that you have to give them order in 1:1 scale not to mention if you try to kill enemy on alert that require you to use 2 character to kill them the timing is so short that it not worth the risk and better go with a gun(but in coop this would be the best thing for hard and challenge mode where *alert==RIP*)

what about the plan mode?
they only exist for normal and easy the time will slow down on those difficulty other then that........useless

Consider it price it a fair trade for the lack in game play and it will worth your time

Very enjoy and not boring
Story is simple yet addicted
Enemy may feel like hard to beat but not hopeless and not just unit spam some boss is balance some is wayy of balance
(mostly boss with 2P but if you defeat P1 it saved and only have to deal with P2)

I thought it will never come to pc(even so you can just play AFT in pc)
Like many have said it a switch port of ps 4 FT of AFT(why don't just port it from AFT then?)
The game itself is ok just like the ps4 ver with better model i think or same as AFT you can Choose between FT and switch model before start any song(i will give this thing as "Toon shader" they just put it on top of the model everything else is the same)
Most of the input can be recognize by the game and don't need 3rd party app(ex. dualshock 4/DualSense)
Everything is the same as ~8 y ago so nothing else to say just...skip it

Performance
60 FPS ATM. yes "good enough?" of course not this is 2022 not 2014 or 2010 +random RNG of lag by no reason(on low chance at any giving time that the game don't reg any input)it fine on hard but if you gonna go ex-extreme that gonna kill you real fast
I think this is the only thing that everyone will care about DRM or not don't matter to me
*This can be fix by MOD......but just WHY?

Just what you expect? it the same as it is but TBH resample some HD Textures assets won't be too much of a pain right SEGA? It PC not SEGA NU that have only i3+650ti i mean the model is great as is but it could be a lot better it don't have to be so damm flat lightsource that look like a paper and lame blur text/background not to mention lame LOGO.farc of all time and over brightness in FT mode
Do it worth your money?
Yes at whatever option you pick it still cost less then PS4 version but off all thing that would be the reason to buy it the most is MOD(by the way if you run on mod you better just turn off the score upload)

I think i forgot to mention that it have leaderboard too(won't go too deep)
well first you play any song(by any mean) got your score then if it more then what ever on the leaderboard between rank 1-1000 then you show up there, sure the best score come from perfect but that not all of it
Hold note is the key to your victory do not try to be "SMART" and edit the score by any mean your score will be remove in no time and may got BAN after it(don't know)every top score there use some kind of cheat anyway you can try Roshin Yuukai EX-extreme perfect by hand it like no way to get 600k score by normal mean
