The gameplay is fantastic and the missions fun, but it's essentially unplayable for me right now: I literally cannot finish difficulty 7 as the game crashes in the middle of a session when just playing a match, selecting a map (even the host selecting a map can crash the game), or even being unable to be spawned in-game as the reinforcement is broken. I will not play until these crashes are fixed and it's honestly just killed my mood for playing this.

At the moment, there is no controller support for the game. As someone who isn't used to M&K and doesn't have a proper way to use my mouse, this hampers my gameplay experience. When controller support is enabled, I will give this game a thumbs up.

Edit: (I am a ♥♥♥♥♥♥) This game has controller support, but it is not optimized very well as the gameplay still feels off and you have to bind every type of action which can be very time consuming. The game is good, but if you're not used to M&K then your experience won't be the best.

Just bought the campaign and I can't find a way to download it (tried when I bought it but it says I didn't have the application for it) Already broken at launch.

As of right now the Store and progression is broken for me. I've reinstalled the game and it still won't load the Battle Pass, news, Store, Armory, and challenges I complete never complete with the Season saying "Season 0" even though we're on Season 1.

Matchmaking and game play run smoothly for me regardless of the above mentioned issues. Until they fix the issues there's literally no reason for me to continue playing even though I dropped ten dollars on the pass THAT I CAN'T EVEN LOOK, BROWSE THROUGH, OR PROGRESS.

So far the game is great! Though there is a few things that may annoy you in your experience. I've only gotten the tutorial and prologue done but you get a general sense of what the game will be.

Pros: + Story so far is good and isn't info dumped. While the Other enemies aren't completely explained yet, you get a general idea.

+ Characters (like the MC) aren't annoying or the oblivious MC's you generally see in JRPG's.

+ Combat is fun, with some different combos and variations with your psychokinesis attacks. Imagine Astral Chain without the stands.

+ Music is interesting, fits the mood, and I've yet to find a bad track.

Now for the cons which you'll ignore or detract you from your experience:

- Now for the worst part: Camera. It's not like other games where it sticks to your character, but when you move around (like left or right) it lags behind the character temporarily before focusing back on your character. It feels weird when you're first experiencing it and it'll take getting used to, but it's not the end of the world. Still not the best camera for a action focused game.

- Cutscenes: It's a comic book style based scenes where different panels will pop up depending on what the character is doing with some facial animation like emotions or lip moving. I actually didn't mind this and found it refreshing from the typical model cutscenes in most games, but I know some will dislike the comic book/visual novel like scenes.

So far I will leave a positive review as I'm enjoying this game. I'll update the review as I finish more chapters in the game.

It's Halo Reach

This game is a major step up from God Eater 1 and 2 both game play wise and story as well. It's faster, doesn't feel as clunky, and if you're a fan of (very minor spoiler) a parent/child relationship story (which I'm a sucker for) than this game is for you.

This game is interesting and fun but there's one glaring issue that's killing the experience for me.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ matchmaking; and by that I mean the player level matchup.

I'm a level 21 and my friend is a level 30 and we're getting matched up with level 80-90's with really good weapons and gear while we're trying to survive with a vanilla rifles/sawed off shotguns. I really want to get invested into this game and recommend it to others but until they fix the damn matchmaking I won't touch this for a while.
