This game is a prime example to publishers to give your developer team flexibility and freedom. Game is a banger, and I haven't even finished it.(At the time of this review.)

Very good game, honestly revolutionary. Shows how much valve loves gaming. There is although a second one with everything in here and more in it. so just play l4d2.

It's literally just a better pavlov. And now that it has mods, I'm more willing to play this rather than pavlov.
I'm editing this now to tell you that this game is getting better and better.
So not only have they added mod support, but their modders are on a mixture of crack and steroids, literally changing how the game is played. The best ones are the tf2 mod, the star wars mod, and the halo mod. This is a suggestion to the devs, but please allow us to have custom gamemodes so we can have things like escort vip, payload, and etc.
Edit: They've done it. Great game, just buy.

this game has potential. It is cool. But the fact that I can't change vr controls is ridiculous. Especially when I'm trying to go forward and my arthritis kicks in. Until I have the option to allow throttle on buttons, I can't recommend this game.

I love this game, but it keeps crashing. pls fix

I have to speak this out, cause it has been becoming a problem playing this game. So the moon brains at rare decided that contracts were too confusing. There goes my guilded voyage I was saving up. But not only that, but somehow the game is even more grindy than it was before. You get way less loot from missions that would otherwise give you a ton of loot. And now, ghost ships have no chance at dropping crates of the damned, which makes fleets WAAAY more difficult than they should be. And safer seas makes default sea of thieves unsafe to play for people just trying to do something. This game used to be good, but now the idiot devs are making it harder for people like me to have a fun time.

At this point in time where the workshop has gone, Rivals is the end all be all ultimate smash bros killer. It's a lot like smash but they've innovated some new features into it. Not to brag about it, but workshop support. Automatically makes a game better. But unfortunately fun is not allowed online.

Eh, its OK for a free to play game, definitely better than brawlhalla. The good thing about this is its constantly getting more players, has a huge potential roster, and is pretty polished. The downsides are that a majority of the characters are locked, so the only way to get them is to pay with in game currency or just buy a bunch with real money. And controls feel pretty good, but there is no basic attack combo like smash, just a charge up mechanic and the characters feel like freaking balloons when going in the air. If you are on a strict budget, go ahead and try. But if you want a direct upgrade to smash, play Rivals of Aether on steam. It has got a whole array of workshop characters, plus I think almost all of the fighters in this game are also fighters in ROA.
