Nice little game that can keep you busy, but takes some time to learn it. There are no hints and no descriptions, which is a bad thing IMO. Deep Despair is not intuitive at all; hence many people gave it a thumbs down, since it can bring you to desperation fast, LOL. Players will often find themselves using Google to solve problems in the game. Read the game description on this page to learn about cutting wood, bonfires and cooking!

PROS:
- Nice little environment that feels alive.
- Good price. If discounted, definitely get it.
- It can keep you busy for a long time IF you manage to stay alive.

CONS:
- The constant footsteps. They never stop, ugh...
- No map, so take note of your coordinates when building a house (turn them on from Settings).
- Only berries as food, which aren't very useful. Where are the apples, bro?

- Mass producing a crafted item? Forget it! You have to do the same thing over and over again. Ugh... This is why I don't even feel like building fences; I'm better off with logs. It's so tedious to create sticks, torches, etc. C'mon, bro!

- At night, you can't see sh#t! Not even one square around you. C'mon, bro! X2
- No furniture to customize your home. Not much creativity here...
- Why collect the cactus if it doesn't do anything? C'mon, bro! X3

TIPS:
- You regenerate health by overeating. Kill sheep and cows to get raw food that you can cook in a bonfire. Berries don't do much; you're better off hunting, but make sure to have a stone sword (wood takes too long to kill).

- When you die, you lose everything! You cannot even get back into your house if you surrounded yourself with logs cause you have no axe! Therefore, it's important to have a chest OUTSIDE your home with a spare weapon and tools. If you use it, remember to restock.

- Beds are respawn points. But you cannot use them if you don't put WOOL on them. Beds allow your character to sleep and skip the night. Can only be used after 7pm.

- Craft a workbench by pressing C. Use the workbench by clicking on it. When you craft something, the stupid game will give you no option where you put it, or even throw the item on the floor. You have to press E to access your inventory and drag it there.

- You never seem to be full; hunger sets in like 10 minutes. Always have a steady supply of raw meat that you can cook at night. The hungrier your character is, the slower and weaker he is. So keep an eye on your health and plan ahead, food wise.

- To make coal, add timbers and wood in a stone furnace. Then you can make torches, which seem to last a long time. Finally, you can see in those damn caves!

- If you dig next to a water tile (with a shovel), the water will flow in the hole. Use this trick to create an irrigation canal to bring water to your field.

Do I recommend this game?
- YES, if you, like me, like pain. LOL
- NO, if you're a snowflake and want everything handed over to you.

Why offer DLC that you can't play?! I can't get to Romania! Unless there's something I miss, I don't recommend this. I want to visit my country! Without buying yet another DLC...

This game pissed me off. It's basically a Click Simulator. Keep clicking on those building to keep the Crime rate down. Because if you miss one (building) you'll have to pay off the "authoroties" to get it back in business. Because of the insane CTR you can't even afford to have many buildings. You can't reduce the game speed, the end game seems kind of pointless at this point (ignoring the fact it won't even trigger if you manually pay off your debt!). Buy a new land for $1,000,000 for what? So I can place more trees to reduce the crime rate? No thanks!

LE: I decided to give it one more chance and played some more. After 5 more hours I still don't recommend this game. I would recommend it because it's CHEAP, but you only get an hour or two of gameplay (if you do challenges), which is okay for the price. If you follow the unwritten rule of 1 hour of gameplay for $1 that is. The problem with this game is that its tutorial is bad. I've seen videos of flooded cities and stressed players because they have to click those damn bars at insane rates. While there is a fix for both, not knowing that made most people give negative reviews here.

To stop the flood from happening, lock your reservoir before reaching 100% (click the text or press the L key).

To make the Crime bar grow slower, build trees and ♥♥♥♥. Not having enough water also increases the Crime. Always watch the statistics at the bottom of the screen. You can also get the "Increase Security" upgrade on each building.

To collect the money automatically (I too was VERY frustrated because of that) take the "Credit Cards" upgrade. That isn't obvious because you have to click an icon on the building' Upgrades tab!

If this game had quests I would definitely recommend it. But at this stage I cannot. Achievements would be nice too. I have no idea why the developer quit on it... it's a nice concept that should be built on.

MULTIPLAYER ONLY!!!
Please be sure you understand this before buying this game! This is Tactics reborn, if you ask me. Plus, you get to play as the dog, which is pretty crazy, right? Enemy hacking and blowing sh*t up is very satisfying; loved the Quadra Boom. There is stealth, barricades, turrets, repair and even a tank.

I highly recommend you DON'T skip the Tutorial or else you'll get rekt. Well, you'll get rekt anyway, until you figure it out. The graphics are great, I absolutely loved them, especially the items, and the 'feeling' is there. I recommend it, but again ONLY if you're okay with some kick-a$$ multiplayer fun. If you want a story, this isn't the game for you.

Pretty interesting game. You start by drawing a stickman, which will also be your in-game character. Draw fire on stuff to burn it. Draw a key and pick it up to unlock gates and chests. Draw an axe to break stuff. Draw a cloud to make rain... You get the idea. You should try it just for fun.

Definitely! The end is... Well, just play it and see. It will only take you 5 minutes. 5 minutes well wasted I might add. ;)
