If you get the "patch" it doesn't do much, it's censored. All it does is ask you "are you 18? are you sure? okay enjoy" and you're just playing a memory game (where you don't get to view the cards first before they're flipped yeah that kind), a wack 3 lane game where you're on a bike and you collect coins and avoid the obstacles in the way, and a puzzle game where if you're lucky the game will say it's complete even though one piece is missing.

Honestly the way the game loads is too much of a headache to deal with. Can't even hit the esc key and exit the game properly.

I don't know what to really say. Like it feels like it wants to be like Destiny, but in a bad way. I played TeamDeath match once, and I was confused on picking a character along with why I had to build a defense wall or whatever. The main game if you want to call it that also confused me, Because why am I going in with a side-arm only? Why do I have to hope that a drop gives me a primary that isn't a shotgun? Why oh why do the enemies eat my bullets like sponges? Why does this orange orb constantly grab me? Why just why is it that for defending this drilling drone there's snipers, drones that follow you then blow up, and this mega sponge eating bullet enemy with a mini gun off the bat? I get the game wants to be an online service multiplayer f2p fps. But the way it went down (in my experience) just doesn't seem the right way to go.

So voice acting is wonderful, the art they have is also wonderful. The plot of the game is hilarious due to how the plot is you're some guy who is famous (or well known). His only goal is to smooch an Eldritch God. Playing Chapter 1 is fairly easy and straight forward. Chapter 2 is a nice mix up. Chapter 3 is.... well... for me it was challenging because of the requirements you will need to basically remember. But overall I would 100% recommend this game. The different endings the game has, along with the hidden secrets that is needed to unlock Chapter 3 is nice. To me the game is a 10/10. I do also hope in the future there are achivments added, because beating Chapter 3, getting all the endings unlocked, "worth it", "still worth", hidden secerets, Clearing Chapter 1, and Clearing Chapter 2. They work as being achievements.

You know what? This is a good game, like for real is a good game, the different endings the game has are nice (especially when those ending fit the theme of this game which is flat out bad endings you would go "wtf there has to be another way for there to be a good ending where there is no negative outcome"). The music and artwork are also good as well, so good I want to be able to see all of the art and even concept art for this game. I hope they make another game like this. And despite all the bad outcomes each ending has it's fun to just explore each ending and how you can get the same or different ending. If you want to go the full mile to get all of the achievements then hey it's not that hard. All 48 are easy to get, the True TRUE ending is even sweeter because you get the story on how or well why this one theater is nothing but horrible negative endings for each member. If you want to see the endings then I implore you to play for yourself to get that wonderful feeling.

This is a mix review. Now if you have the time for it, then you can play this game from 12 am to flat out 12 am and just grind you soul away. This game isn't for those who aren't going to be leaving their computers on (though it wouldn't matter there were times where I did leave it on and when I come home the game would have forced closed itself).

So where to begin? Well first off you level up quickly and fast and you can let the game just well play itself and you won't even have to press a button to use any of the moves since it's flat out auto-playing. Only thing you will do is equip, use whatever items the game give you and watch the game play out. I have no clue what the story is since you will more focus on 2 things. 1. is trying to get the full 12 divine gear the game has that you want to get, and 2. trying to level up because the side quest they have (they call it turns) allow you to get stronger and unlock more things. Along with those are events, trials, arenas, bosses, story instances, exp instances and gear instances. On top of that are Alliance runs (you have to kill x amount of enemies and you do it for 20 times), Exp runs (again you have to kill x amount of enemies 20 times), and bounty hunt runs (yes x amount of enemies to kill but 12 times, shocker I know). And to put more on to that are the amount of other things that you want to get to make yourself stronger for your alliance and against other people.

Because this game is a PvP only time you'll come facing PvP are during events (like escort the princess) or dealing with fighting bosses they have (like world bosses are one of them). How the PvP works is that you gain affiliation when you kill another player during an event or during fighting the world boss. I'm not sure how it works but how it's done are 4 ways. You start out as Peaceful (green), you will not attack anyone. Then you have Neutral (yellow) and you'll only kill other people who are yellow (if they attack you first) and red (automatic attack). Next is Alliance (blue) you will attack others who aren't in your alliance. Lastly there is Chaotic (I honestly forgot what they called it but its red) and you flat out kill anyone no matter who they are (basically making you a PK and if you don't know what PK means it means Player Killer, and if you like you could be come a PKK, if you play .hack//G.U. then you know what I'm talking about)

Now that confusing nonsense is out the way, let's get into why it's so bad in the first place as a MMO game. it is a flat out full on p2w game. I say that because even if you play the game f2p, you struggle more due to how the game will give you a chest due to your progress, but you can't open said chest because you don't have any gold, and that gold is the premium in game money that you would use real money to buy (now you can get gold by using the trade system but only things like these crystals, gold rarity chest, and gold rarity armor will be something that gets you gold oh and it would have to be something like a tier 8-10+ to mean something to buy for). Along with that are how they have this turn system that allows you to get stronger but you will have to meet the requirement level (here's where the bs gets more dumb) when you reach that requirement level, and you do some of the quest it then sets a new level requirement just to finish it (example I'm trying to get to Turn 4, the game says I need to be level 380 I get there, do some of the quest only for the game to tell me now I have to be level 400 to finish it).

Again you will be more focus on dealing with getting the divine gear set (because 2 ways to do it are fighting bosses and doing the equipment instances. but good luck on that the rng is bad and will sometimes give you gear for a different class most of the time along with not drop what you want in order to progress for the divine gear) and leveling up. the story doesn't even matter at the point. Oh I forgot to mention you do change into other characters that you summon, and you also grind for those to be stronger to make you stronger. you use diamonds (which would be the free in game money you can earn left and right) to make your wings, pet, horse, and another item I can't remember stronger. But if you're in an alliance then you also need to use said diamonds to donate to make your alliance stronger.

In all honesty this game will make you feel dead inside and accomplish nothing in the game because again the story for said game doesn't even matter. You will only care about trying to make yourself stronger by dealing with rng for gear and trying to level up. You can go from level 1 to level 120 in a couple of minutes, and the game gives that sense you're op and nothing can really stop you. But then you hit that snag where trying to get exp isn't as easy even with the exp instances.

If you decide to get the game then don't join an alliance or even make one. When I played the game I knew I wasn't going to stay long and I somehow became leader of this alliance all because of who I think made it originally went afk and the game automatically made me leader due to how I was being more active within the guild along with my donations. But me becoming leader all came to an end when I decide to make this one guy who was being active just like me ownership because there are other games to play that would have some meaning with the story. This one, no, no meaning at all. Not even one. You flat out ignore the story and leave the game on to grind all you can. Because at the end of the day, you'll possibly leave the game within a day or so. I've seen level 100 and 120 join the alliance only to just stop getting on. For 6+ days. If that's the cause then go play a game that is a flat out afk where you can do something for a few moments then leave for a month and come back.

I will be 100% honest with you on this review. War Robots is a flat out p2w game. You first start the game with bots (ofc for any game that is a moba game or just a game like this, bots are the first thing you deal with, and you have like 3 or 4 matches with them before dealing with actual people). Don't get comfortable with that, because as soon as the real match start just know there is no match making involved, so you will be stuck with the 2 basic bots you are given for free, and your teammates will either also be on the same path as you being f2p, or p2w.

Now you will heavily know someone is p2w when:
1. their bot is absolutely maxed out along with their weapons.
2. their bots barely take any damage, but will make sure they will melt you like butter.
3. Even though you have 2 bots and you some how mange to beat them 2 times, they have that last bot that will melt you like butter.
4. They have weapons you know they had put money into the game just to get.
5. They have bots you would had to hope to get in a pull (oh yeah there are bots that need their "puzzle pieces" just to obtain).
6. Will likely gangbang you. By letting one of their teammates (pawn) to let you shoot at them while you're getting filled with holes more than a swish-cheese would have.

Now on top of the p2w players, you have people who will get in your way and either:
1. Get you killed.
2. Block your shots.
3. Kill the enemy before you even though you was dealing with it all by yourself (and because possibly they're p2w they have that over power weapon).
4. Be one of those people that get themselves killed first.
4. Will not back you up because there is no map, to your team know where most of the enemies are at.

The 3 game modes they have are Quickmatch, Domination (this is what you'll be playing and stuck with until you get to I think either level 9 or 10 (don't quote me on that, I didn't pay much attention, but it might be 10 just to be safe), and Team Deathmatch (oh and no once your bot is destroyed you can't just wait for it to be brought back).

I don't know how long the wait queue is for Quickmatch, but for Domination the queue is like 20-24 seconds of a wait (might extend to 50 seconds or a minute). When the match start normally the objective is to get to one of the checkpoints, claim it, to earn points and kill the enemy to get more points. But it isn't like that instead it's ignore the check points and kill all the enemy bots because this game mode is like 9 minutes long (I think, every time I look up at the timer its either 5 minutes left or 6 minutes left). For Team Deathmatch the queue says its about 24 seconds, but it's more like you're going to wait a minutes. In this mode you expect to be able to reuse your bot to respond and get to the max set point right? Well no, instead once your bot is destroyed you move to your next bot and try again. Once either team is completely wiped out the winning team that still has their bots wins (so yes, the score points you see is completely useless and is meaningless).

So here are the pros and cons.

Pros:
1. It's a "realistic bot game" as in the bots will be moving slow unless they have a feature that makes them move faster, or at least jump a certain amount of distance (only the 2nd bot you get for free can do the boost jump, the other bot can't)

Cons:
1. This is a heavily p2w game
2. You will get gangbang alot, there is no such thing as getting good in this game at all
3. You're stuck with 2 free bots until you decide to farm to unlock the 3rd hanger and buy another bot.
4. Your teammates will get in the way, get you killed, take your kill, get themselves killed or just not provide backup.
5. In Team Deathmatch it's not even about the score but if all the bots are dead.
6. Once your bot is destroyed in Team Deathmatch it's out for good, until the next match is started.
7. In Domination match it doesn't matter if you got none of the checkpoints to gain points, since it only matters when all of the enemy bots are destroyed.
8. Because it's more of a "realistic bot" game your bot will move slow as hell.
9. Rockets that track will hit you even if you move trying to get away, it's that magical type of tracking they have in the game that makes it much more of a pain (only way to not get hit by it, is if you're somewhere like under something or at an angle so it can't touch you, but good luck with that since your bot moves too slow to even get behind cover).
10. I don't remember if this is after every match or when you level up but the game will be like "hey why don't you spend some real money on this game to get a little advantage" and it's annoying and dumb.
11. The music they have is just bad, and no not when you start the game when you're in the hannger, but when you're in a match itself.

You will have less fun if you're playing this game for free due to the amount of how many times you will get screwed over with your teammates and get screwed over by the enemy team. Only way you will have fun if you indeed give up money to the game, buy the bot that will tank every hit but dish it back out, and buy the weapons that will melt someone like butter.

Okay, so I want to like this game, but it's a weird how this is a hybrid of a MOBA and battle royal. I say it's weird because for a MOBA game there is only 2 teams in this 3/2/1 lane arena. And you go around killing minions in the lane and in the jungle to level up plus upgrade your skills, not only level up and upgrade your skills but to farm for gold to buy the items you need, Another thing in MOBA games (if you play Smite or had played Paragon, then you know we didn't fully have this, and Smite technically has it, but it's used differently) are tall grass you hide in, and you'll only be visible if the enemy is next to you in the grass or you're caught coming out/going in or there's something that can detect you, but another place you hide in is the jungle. In a Battle Royal game there is no level up system, but there is a finding system where you have to search for your items that you need, along with either being by yourself (Solo), with another person (Duo), or as a team (Trio). For the crafting, basically only game I know where you craft is Fortnite and Realm Royal. This game takes elements of the farming for level, upgrading your skills from MOBA games, so there's that element. The other element is well the Battle Royal part, crafting, the idea of Solo, Duo, and Trio, and searching for what you need. Again it's a weird hybrid of a game.

How the game works is like this, you are dropped in and you have to search for the gear material you need to upgrade, but you have to be quick and you have to go in some sort of order, I have no clue because I try to stick with upgrading one thing then move on to the next without having to get distracted with what the game tells me I would need to craft (and that's mainly for when it's on a different item). You can get the drop from the wild animals, but they down spawn in immediately, you have to wait when you first start, and when they do spawn in you have to hope they have the material you need. You also have to pay attention to the material you craft, because if you just go around picking up material items and crafting left and right, you're going to use up all of your inventory (remember it's only 10 spaces) but you're also not going to know what you even needed to have on your character. Also at the start other players possibly won't even bother you yet due to how everyone just started so there won't be an early kill in the beginning of the game.

I also want to add in that the tutorial doesn't help at all. It doesn't tell you why some areas go yellow then into red, it also don't tell you what happens when you're in such areas. First all areas but the research facility are white, then some areas goes into yellow, then afterwards they go red. now typical in a Battle Royal game you're on an island of some sort with a storm closing in on you, but with this, it's just confusing in general. The tutorial also don't help with on how again you have to go to different location on the map just to find what you need to upgrade the material you need. Sure it goes over that killing the wild animals give you exp to level up and upgrade your skills, and even loot from, Along with using said skills. But when it comes down having to know where to go on the map and what some of the stuff on the map does, like there is this quick way of travelling, but the tutorial doesn't tell you that, or how you can have a part of the map tell you if someone in the area by activating the cameras, or heck doesn't tell you that there are boxes that will drop from the sky that you can loot from or call down yourself. No all it does is that it tells you how to use your skills, to loot for items, to upgrade those items, to kill wild animals for exp to level up and upgrade your skills, and how to look on the map to see if anyone is crafting or fighting and how you should also be careful because the enemy can also use that to find you. Did you know you can sleep in the game? yeah, you only learn that from a hint on a loading screen that would have been nice to have in the tutorial, and it's good to sleep in the tall grass to heal your hp if you have no food or you used all the food you upgraded (cooked).

I don't know to me, it's just overall weird for this to be classified as a MOBA game to start off, I would been fine if it was just a unique way of a Battle Royal game over a hybrid of the two different genres tags. The game can be fun, but the learning curve just isn't.

So I had compare to this like Borderlands game mixed with Roguelite and that comes down to the abilities, guns, and difficulty.

You go through a lot of trial and error (especially when you play by yourself), but because of that trial and error you will improve yourself based on the enemy you come face with, and with knowing which items is best useful, and weather or not you want to risk the chance of going through the purple portal where you can get lucky with scrolls

Next to that is leveling up your skill power, how much ammo you have, how much damage you do, how much health you have, and how much shield power you have. That's also something to consider when you go through your trial and error.

The game is fun to play, and you will want to get better at knowing which enemy to deal with first and which one to deal with last, what weapon you prefer to use, which abilities you want to upgrade as you go though each level, which gun you want to fully upgrade or just have both upgraded once. You will never know what you'll have to fight at the end of the door nor which types of enemies (unless you been though it so many times you can take a good wild guess at it) I would recommend getting this game and to play it with friends.

So, I'm readoing the reviews and I decied to finally write one. So here it goes. I did play this game when it first came out on steam, I only played it at first for an hour... I didn't like it because I was confused about where to go and how to really play even though I went through the tutorial. But I came back and what a surpised it's still the same with addional things added.

Like any Free-2-Play game on steam the reviews can range from mixed to positives reviews, depending on how the game is played and who the game is aimed towards. As for Digimon Masters it fell into the mixed catogory.

Starting The Game:
Like all RPG games you pick your server and "make" your character and name them. But for Digimon Masters you only do 2 of those things, pick your server and name your character. The servers at the time is 4 and they are named after Digimons themselves. Omegamon which is the new server, Barbamon, Beelzemon, Leviamon, Lilithmon, and Lucemon. Once you pick your server you pick your characters that you will name and that character is who you play as. There are a total of 10 Digitamers, 4 of them are from Digimon Data Squad (which is what the game is based on) and the other 6 are from Digimon Adventures (who are locked, which means you might have to do a certain requirement to unlocked them. Sadly the game doesn't tell you how to unlocked them). If you seen the anime then you already know the names of all the Digitamers. For those that don't know the 4 from Digimon Data Squad are Marcus Damon, Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshino Fujienda, and Keenan Krier. The Digmon Adventures are Tai Kamiya, Mimi Tachikamwa, Matt Ishida, Takeru Takashi, Yagami Hikari, and Takenoashi Sora. Now which each character comes different stats and abilites. After you pick your characters you name them and you can only use 12 spaces. After that you choose your Digimon, which shows a total of 86 and they do only show you the 3 different chips that each Digmon are (that or I just didn't check through all of them to make sure there are only 3 but from the most part I only seen 3). The 3 chips are Data which is Da, Vaccine which is Va, and Virus which is Vi. Here's another down part to the game you can only pick 4 out of the 86 since 4 of them follows the Digimon Data Squad story. Agumon (Va), Lalamon (Da), Gaomon (Da), and Falcomon (Va). And of corse which each Digimon is a different ability, stats, and Digivolution. After you pick you name your Digmon which can also only use 12 space for a name. After all that, you are put in tutorial mode.

Game Play:
Of corse all Games (or well most games) takes you through a tutorial so you know how to play the game. There isn't much since it only tells you that you can click to move (but really why click when you can use WASD) double-click on a NPC to talk to them, use the map and NPC finder (turst me that's something you're going to want to use since you can get lost on what quest you might be on, so pay attention to who the quest wants you to talk to). Now this game is unique since you contorl your character and "control" your Digimon. D is for your Digimon and C stands for well you as the character. You can tell your Digmon to attack, follow you, or standby. You also have two switch out spots for two other Digimons. What the game doesn't teach you is that you have to right click and hold to move the camera. The tutorial isn't over until you talk to Yoshino Fujieda.

Now if you're like me who first played and came back to the game, you will be treated with a "Welcome Back Gift!" Like how some games can be for players who are returning to the game. When you do come back you're going to have a hard time with some missions because your inventory can end up getting full. But you will get a third Digimon that will end up becoming level 44, and they let you choose between Impmon, Guilmon, and Veemon. After you choose you'll level skip them, along with a level skip for which ever Digimon you want to do for between your first one or second one to become level 14.

Now that's over here's a sort recap with the Pros and Cons

Pros:
It's a somewhat nostalgic feel
You get to name your own Digimon
It's free
It's not that much bad of a game that most people make it look out to be

Cons:
Does't teach you about the camrea movement
Your inventory can get full and doesn't tell you how to place other things you want to save for later in a locker
You don't get to have a customize character
The diolog can be bad
You can get confused on a quest or just have too many quest to deal with
You can get of corse of the main story
You can Digivolve willynilly because you have Digisouls (or whatever it's called, I call it mana) so you have to know when you want to Digivolve

But that is my own opinion and I will recomment people to play this game, because in all honesty it's not bad to play. Sure there can be more Cons than Pros but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try this, I do want to know what other people think about this game with their experiance so I will allow comments to be posted under this post.
