You'll see a lot of reviews by people who bought it when it fist came out, disliked it, and now enjoy it. I didn't get this game when it first released, I just got it now, so I can't give any perspective on how it's improved, only on how it is now. I personally believe it's a very fun game with an interesting setting, but only if you can tolerate some serious grinding. Land on planet, get resources so you can get to next planet, repeat. This fades away after a few systems once you have a ship with more storage and are able to store more fuel and resources, but the grinding continues, simply on a larger scale. Buy this game if you want a grind-fest with good bits of discovery, exploration, great aesthetic and atmosphere, and a setting full of mystery and story. If you can't get past long periods of grinding, though, then you'd best spend your money elsewhere.

Starbound is amazing. It is similar to terraria, but is different enough to be worth your money. Cool bosses, cool building, cool ítems, cool EVERYTHING make this game awesome. Only complaint is the bugs. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUY!
