Solid hero shooter. Runs well, no crashes in 5 hours, only a few very minor balance complaints. If you care about free cosmetic progression, your options will be fairly limited here. Play with a full stack of pals.

RIP brother. Should've played this with you when I had the chance.

I bought this dlc to support the devs continued free support of a now three year old single-player game. Honestly, I wish they'd move on to their next paid project because they're excellent and deserve to profit from their time!

Wonderful little game. Lots of passion went into this one.

Pretty solid dark-souls combat in 2D. Lots of weapons and armor to collect, secrets to find, and achievements to unlock. A good range of difficulties through which to experience the game. Plenty of challenge to be had if that's what you're looking for, and if not, this can also be a casual romp through an engaging story and lovingly-crafted world.

If you liked the Red Wall books, check this one out. You owe your inner child.

Great game marred by three (repairable) issues:

- Overly grindy progression
I've unlocked 2 ARs in 31 hours and the next AR unlock is at least 10 hours away.

- Game design is somewhat confused
Battlebit melds hardcore elements (Squad) and arcadey elements (Battlefield). This is mostly successful, but some elements clash. For example, the game is hardcore in the sense that it has a very quick TTK and heavy aimpunch, but it is arcadey in that it has extremely fast player movement. This mixture, when combined with massive 127v127 player counts and immense map verticality, can make for a very punishing experience. This is great for some, but if you were led to believe that this game is basically a spiritual successor to Battlefield, your actual experience of the game may be jarring.

- Upcoming Faceit implementation
The game currently runs Easy Anti-cheat, a fairly porous tool for catching cheaters. That being said, in my combined 70 hours playing this game (alpha playtests + Steam early access), I have never been disrupted by an overt cheater. Still, the devs feel that EAC is inadquate, and at some point in the future, they will transition to Faceit for their official servers. Faceit will undoubtedly catch more cheaters, but its success comes at the cost of compromised user privacy; it is a very invasive anti-cheat. For privacy reasons, I find the proposed switch from EAC to Faceit to be highly objectionable.

Fun and well-made, but a total timesink.

There are four classes. I crash 1-2x per match with every class but Ogryn. Ogryn is cool, but I'd like to experience the other 75% of the game.

I refunded it. At present, It's not worth my money (or yours).

I hope stability improves, I'd like to come back to it in the future.
