Atmospheric masterpiece. Non stop dread that heavily ramps up the further you are in the game. Terrifying monster and level design. Respectable puzzles even on the simple difficulty. Simple, but satisfying combat. Heavily thought provoking story.

One of the best worlds ever. Tarnished heavily by a few horrid boss fights and an exceptional amount of jankiness. Quite a few monsters or bosses feel cheesy and gimmicky which is never a good feeling and makes killing those bosses unrewarding. I'd prefer not to use my own cheese for those select few bosses, but it gets to the point of not caring. The cheese available in the game for the player definitely trivializes fights if you utilize it. However, if you do use the cheese, it leaves an empty feeling after defeating a boss with it. In contrast, there are quite a few really great fights that feel good to learn and conquer. These fights do a lot of heavy lifting when rating this game. 8.5/10

One of the best games ever. One of the only games I've played through multiple times. Amazing world, fun combat, exceptional story.

Very fun game. Almost every weapon feels extremely good to use. Each class will become your favorite the more you play them. Movement is insanely fun.

First RE game i've played. Amazing game with a lot of tension throughout. After the first run I wanted to play through it again and the game encourages replays. I have now ran through the game three times. I have only ever played through a game twice maybe two times in my life and never this soon back to back. Well worth.

100% the best Rogue-like I have played. If you haven't played a Rogue-like, then I would definitely get this game to try out the genre.

Amazing. Definitely one of the best Rogue lites out there. Great attention to detail. awesome world/story. Player control. Fun. Multiple progression paths. Gameplay changes a good amount based on weapon choice. Synergies between certain weapons and boons. Awesome dialogue. Great soundtrack. Difficult progression. Challenging boss fights (especially later on in a run). Meaningful power gain through time spent grinding. Late game challenge options for hardcore runs. The game does a great job encouraging your progress. And all for $25 (19.00 on sale :)) 100% worth it for both price tags.

Do not expect to play this game seriously. If you do, then you are setting up for a rage inducing experience. Many bugs, and drastically different games from SWF sweat squads which leave you in a state of disbelief about how the game can be so survivor sided to games where you dominate the survivors.

Loved almost everything about this game. Nice story, good level difficulty, and really fun to slice n dice enemies, and fast pace healing and fighting. made parrying challenging, which is good. the only problem i faced was not facing my enemy while fighting which i learned that there was an autolock button. Weapon upgrades and other things you can buy from the store made the experience that much better. Would def recommend to anyone
