I have referenced this game as one of the best PS1 games I played in my childhood. The soundtrack was great and the voice acting was great too. When I found out this game was getting remastered I didn't even question it. I had to have it.

Yes It's a PS1 remaster and it's clunky at times but it's still great. It brought back that feeling of having to look around when games didn't hold your hand. No caution yellow on all the ledges you need to grab and indicators. Just a compass and a few hints.

10/10 make games like this again.

One bug I've found is if you return to Melciahs arena and attempt to move around in the arena the world will disappear. Still 10/10

I'd hold my money until the patches improve some things.

Premature but there is something good here. The game feels decent. Combat feels solid with the exception of the AI feeling like its got an aim-bot at times and some enemies eating your bullets like a sponge.

Pros:
Weapons, especially the jamming animations look good
Food/Water/Ammo seem to be plentiful if you manage somewhat
Decent story so far
Fast travel if wanted but not needed

Cons:
These cons for me are almost enough to just stop playing.

The amount of bullets to kill some enemies just eats through your durability costing you $$$ just to repair, you'll sell all your anomalies that you find JUST to maintain your gear without upgrading. 30 rounds out of an AK eats about 2-4% durability. Some enemies take 3-5 mags to just kill for no reward but whats the point in running from everything. Armor is crazy expensive to repair as well. So frustrating. Enough to almost download mods to deal with how stupid it is.


Be cautious, it does have plenty of bugs but save often and you'll be ok.

There are a few bugs, mostly related to multiplayer issues (co-op). It's a great experience so far! If you really want to play this with a friend I may wait a couple days for when it's released to iron out the bugs for co-op

This game gives me that joyful feeling I didn't know I still had for some games. I would never hesitate to play this game.

Where's that D*** mule?

Did not expect such a great underwater survival game. Adding to Top 10 Favorites.

I was excited but I'm not linking to PSN account. I play on PC, not Playstation. Aside from the Data breaches it's just a complete backhand to the players who can't make PSN accounts and a complete money grab from Sony. As much I love this game, I don't support this anymore. Losing access to a game I already own is just unacceptable.

ADHD Simulator

As I write this I have not finished the game but I thought I'd give some insight to those who haven't bought it. As someone who played the PS2, Gamecube, bought the PS3 store version, as well as the steam version.

Pros:
-Capcom made it better, the enviroment, the gunplay is top tier. Everything, the challenge system that you can use to trade for exclusive items.

Cons:
-Worst voice actor choices for both Krauser, Ramon and Lord Saddler. I cannot get over how bad these are. They sound like an edgy kid trying to lower his voice.

11/10 so far


Update: Still amazing, she in fact does come equipped with ballistics.

When the nemesis system was introduced, I thought it was the best thing ever. Still is. 10/10
