Unless there'll a patch to tune the combat to be more forgiving/less frustrating for this game that boasted being "puzzle focused", I'd say steer away unless you're in it for the art or you enjoy being punished by combat for progressing and solving actual puzzles (although perhaps it was the intention to invoke that feeling of despair).
Despite the frustrating combat and self-contained rotation puzzles near the end (subjectively my least favourite kind of puzzle) the whole picture was unique and pleasing enough for me to stick through.
Although this is more of a commentary on bio-punk as a genre; seeing flesh and bone in the place of wood or stone when examining these environments and to see it all moving and functioning like machines evokes a twisted feeling that I quite enjoy. It's marvelous how desolate and barren this world has been made to be despite all these structures and machines made of and containing what is usually known as the opposite.
I was truly immersed in the horror outside the frustrating puzzles and combat.
