Incredible DLC, a LOT of content for the price! Punishingly difficult, sometimes maybe a tad over the top - but all in all, a 10/10 DLC as it is.

A roguelite FPS with actual good movement and fun gunplay, with some banger music tracks on many of the levels.

One of the most fun roguelites I've played!

Basically DOOM Eternal on speed, with retro graphics.

Awesome movement, fun weapons, good music, cool artstyle, challenging etc.

100% recommend it.

How to explain Elden Ring? Hm.. Hard. Frustrating at times. But also rewarding, challenging. Beautiful. Has an amazing open world. So much to see and do. Confusing story? Yep. A lot of bosses? Oh dear god, yes. Huge ones? Definitely!

Really my first Souls-game, and it's fantastic, the open world-style fits it so well. Yes, it can make you extremely angry if you let it. But in the end, just barely defeating something that has killed you 25 times is a feeling few games can provide.

I really can't say anything that isn't already said about this game. I have a hard time seeing anything coming out this year that would grab the GOTY-spot from Elden Ring.

As indicated by my playtime, I've given this game more chances than it deserves.

In it's current state, it's a beta, and paying €90 for Early access of a beta is an insult.

What makes it feel like a beta? Oh I dunno.. is it the random rubberbanding servers? The CONSTANT revive-bug, where if the downed player is too close to a wall, or in shallow water, they can't be revived? The Breakout matches you randomly join that can't be ended? The bug where you can't respawn or be revived, forcing you to disconnect? The bad hitreg?
Or when the game reset all my settings completely randomly, also forcing me to watch the introduction again? Or the.... you get the point.

But bugs are only the lesser part of the whole problem, bugs can be fixed somewhat quickly - though at the same time, proving they outright lied when they stated that they were "months ahead in development", because there is no chance this game has been properly gametested and quality assured, there just isn't.

No the main issues are how in the WORLD this game has less features and content, than say Battlefield 4, that came out EIGHT YEARS ago.

You know how in Battlefield 4, from 2013, you can create a squad and then have your friends join it, then you can lock it too if you want? In BF2042 from 2021, you can't do any of it. Can't create a squad, join a specific one, or lock it. Oh, and have more than three friends who want to play, on the same side and server? Tough luck, you can squad up with three other people and find a random game though, if that's enough for ya.

Remember in BF4, you could join a specific server through the server browser? Yeah that server browser is 2013 technology, it isn't for 2021 though. You could argue Portal is a server browser, but it is nowhere even near as user friendly and usable as the one BF4 had. In 2013. And the XP gained in those matches are extremely minimal, to counter XP-farming servers.

You know how BF4 had 84 different guns to play with? BF2042 has 22. There were 13 LMG's in BF4 alone. This game has two. But hey, it has attachments?! Yeah, most of which do the EXACT SAME thing, only with a different name.

Also building destruction and levolution from BF4 was better, in almost every way. The list of things removed from this game, that BF4 had in 2013, is ridiculous.

The whole "no more classes., we have Specialists now" now is just.. it's just not really Battlefield anymore. But you know what? You can sell so many more skins if there are 20 specialists to choose from, and not just 4 classes!. And man, kids these days love hero shooters, just look at Call of Duty, Overwatch, Valorant etc, so of course EA wants to bring in more truckloads of cash from that segment of players.

Then there's the incredibly overpowered Hovercraft, the call-in system that just floods the match with vehicles, the huge maps with loads of empty space and no cover., the idiotic "plus menu" for weapon customization.. combined with the unpolished feel and important missing features, this Battlefield-branded game feels like a husk of its former self. Which is incredibly sad, because there are moments when everything clicks and it shows that it CAN be a great game, but as a whole, it just isn't. Not right now anyway. Releasing it in this state, for full price and pretending like everything is fine, is frankly insulting.

I'm going to review this for what it is - a sub €30 (launch offer) game made by 12 people.

Part Diablo, part CP2077 and part Shadowrun from the SNES-era, this is a seriously beautiful game. The environments drip of cyberpunky atmosphere, with so much fine grain detail and style, all while being tack sharp (I play it at 4k downsampled to 1440p, and it's just that.. sharp!). And while it's not the same genre, I really do feel this has a more thoroughly detailed world than CP2077. Maybe not as big (but not sure, haven't seen the whole in game world yet), but whereas Night City felt so empty and bland at a lot of places, I really need to reiterate how amazing the world in Ascent looks. And again, seeing how this was made by such a small team, really says a lot of the final product, when it's better than 2077 on a lot of art directional/world building points.

The sound is also top notch - great soundtrack, some good voice acting and sweet weapon and explosion sounds etc. Gameplay is tight and polished, even if it might get somewhat samey after a while. But the game challenges you consistently enough so you're never bored. Progressing and unlocking/finding new weapons and augments is very nice.

I read about bugs before I bought it, but I've been thankfully spared by any bugs. It did stutter a few times in the beginning when something exploded, but that somehow went away after a bit of playing. Now it never happens.

But again, I really have to hand it to the art director/environment artist/s, I just love the look and feel of the world, so if anyone from Neon Giant ever sees this - bravo!

A visually stunning game, and not just in pure graphics, but also amazing art direction and world building. Very atmospheric, some scenes and places really make you go "woah", like Keanu Reeves.

Fun gameplay, if not a bit repetitive after you've beaten the main storyline. Though I suppose you can mix it up yourself by doing a different "build" on your character. Still, it feels pretty tight and polished for the vast majority of the time.

The story is very interesting and pretty tense and exciting. But I'm assuming that to really get it, you have to read the hundreds of reports and documents laying around, because the storytelling in the main questline does not tell you even nearly enough to explain it well. Still, there is some good mystery in there.

But all in all, definitely one the more interesting games I've played for a long time, definitely recommended.

This DLC does not pull any punches whatsoever - it takes off where the difficulty was at the last level in the main story, and cranks it up even more from the get go. At it's peak, with the volume way up, this can really make you work up a sweat!

Speaking of volume, the soundtrack is still good, but I don't think it matches the one in the main game by Mick - but that's a tough feat, so I'm not surprised. But again, it's still good.

There are some gimmicks introduced in this DLC that I'm not a fan of, to be honest. Things that slow down the pace and breaks the fluidity of the combat. For me personally, peak modern DOOM is keeping a steady but quick movement pace while you're dealing with enemies "on the fly" as you move around. It's a bit like the Marauders in the base game - they force you to deal with them in one specific way, and you have to focus on them to time your attacks, and I simply don't think they're fun to deal with.

But overall a good DLC that brings a serious challenge, and is happily looking forward to the second part.

Compared to the previous three RIDE titles, this feels like a rushed cashgrab of a game.

Bugs that can be literally be found/experienced two minutes into the game, in the introduction lap that you have to do. And it's so easy to replicate, you get the impression that the game was barely gametested.. Then there's the almost blind AI that divebombs you in the corners, but somehow can just keep riding. And looking at the discussions here on Steam, you can see it has other bugs that other players have found, that you can tell should definitely have been found if the game was properly tested before release.

Then there's other things, like not many bikes BUT OF COURSE you can buy them as day 1 DLC.
The tuning/upgrading has been watered down and isn't as good as previous titles.

It feels like a typical EA release - rushed and cheap.
