Great game to play with a friend, fun environments and time to be had. The chained gimmick sets it apart from other platformers.

Great casual chill game. It is a complete sandbox, there are no points, no money, you cannot win or lose. It is just all about your imagination.

Victoria 2, yet another Grand Strategy Game produced by Paradox Interactive, however unlike Hearts of Iron taking you through the second world war, Victoria 2 takes you through the Victorian era, a period of colonization, nationalism, industrialization, and westernization. You play literally as any country from 1836, from the United States of Central America to the Free City of Kraków, and guide it through the Industrial era and the Victorian era.

Forge your destiny as you guide your nation through 100 years of industrialization, war, and colonization, vie for Great Power status and sign Alliances that at a split second, could be aimed at you, survive anarcho-liberal uprisings and anti-western partisans as you try to westernize as Japan. Along with nations that already exist, there are some that are relasable or formable; defeat the Russian Empire as Sweden and form Scandinavia, release Scotland from the United Kingdom and form your own Empire. Play as Prussia and Form The North German Confederation, and then Germany, play as Two Sicilies and form Italy, play as France and become a giant blob, the choice is yours, for 100 years you are free to achieve your goals, and watch the world change, not even the AI choose the same path each time.

Will the Communist Rebels in France take Paris and install their own government? Will the Anarcho-Liberal anarchists take power in Russia? Will America spread burgers throughout the world? Will the Soviet Union fall to Democratic Germany, will Fascist France continue its rivalry with Communist Britain? Will Australia become a Communist Global power and vie with Democratic New Zealand? Or will the Democratic Rebels in the West stutter the Aussies' Chances? Will the Irish Rebels beat back the British units and declare independence? Will Liberia colonize all of Africa before the scramble even starts? Will Texas annex Mexico? Will the California Republic invade Hawaii? Will the CSA end the Civil war with a Stalemate? Will the CSA come begging to the USA again for Union? Will Poland into space? Will Bolivia into Coastline? Will Switzerland sit on its bum and watch the world go by? Will China industrialize and defeat the Western industry? Will Russia keep Alaska? Will Jews elect a facist party in Israel? I'm not certain, but all of this is possible in Victoria 2.

Pros:
+Balanced combat, as well as a nice amount of units (not too many, not too little) and provide nice costumization of forces
+Great powers and secondary powers make the game feel more real
+ Neat political system (upperhouse, elections and reforms)
+ Factory system
+ Attention to detail: Each country has its own flags for Monarchy, Republic, Fascist and Communist. And most countries have flavour events.
+ You can change history

Cons:
- Steep learning curve

Overall rating: 14/15 (Must own for history nerds and strategy gamers)

Hearts of Iron III is an excellent game. It allows the player to control any nation in the lead-up to WW2, or during it if you prefer. These range from Nazi Germany, of course, to the Dominican Republic, which gives you an idea of the level of choice on offer. The game essentially drops you into the world as head-of-state of one of these many nations, and it's entirely up to you what to do from there: will you align with the Axis in Europe to gain your share of the economic gains in the upcoming war? Or will you side with Stalin's Russia and work to undermine Fascism and the Allies, in an attempt to dominate the world with Communism?

However, the level of historical accuracy in HOI3 is astounding, despite the player's ability to make independent and alternate choices. For example, there is a system of "decisions" in the game which often provide some sort of benefit, one of which is the historical Anschluss of Austria for Germany. As well as this, there are literally thousands of officers, with their own traits and skill levels (which can be improved with combat), to assign to command your divisions or brigades. These are just two examples in an intricate web of historical detail. WW2 history buffs like myself will be elated at the opportunity to not only, for example, command Rommel's Afrika Korps, but lead it to complete victory in the Middle East! Again, this is just an example that popped into my head, the level of possibility is insane.

Aside from the military aspect of the game, which is the focus, there are various other sectors of your nation that you can alter control. There is the politics tab, where you select your ministers and make policies, as well as administer the areas that have come under your occupation through war. There is the diplomacy tab, where, if you are a leader of a faction, such as the Axis, you can influence nations to join you in alliance, and make trade deals, sell equipment, declare war, ETC. Other tabs include research, production, intelligence. I won't go into detail on these, but all are as important as each other.

PROS
+ Insanely high level of historical detail (accurate divisional names, commanders, ministers in governments, literally tens of thousands of provinces)
+ Ability to relive or rewrite history, in your own unique way.
+ Greatly immersive, you get to the point where hours just slip away in what feels like minutes!
+ Huge scale wars, on land sea, and air, where you are the commander in chief.

CONS
- Not recommended if the player is looking for amazing graphics- the gameplay is what sells HOI3, not the visuals.
- A tad buggy. The game crashes relatively frequently, especially if tinkering around in console commands.
- Steep learning curve, but once you get the full hang of it, you'll realise it was well worth the time put into it.

Battleblock Theater is an 2D platformer-puzzle game created by the legendary Behemoth.

In the main story mode, there are 8 chapters, each with 9 normal stages, a 2-part finale, and 3 encore stages. In the normal stages, you must find at least three green gems and reach the exit in time. Each one you complete unlocks the next one, and the final one unlocks the finale. In the finale, you're racing against the clock. You still need three gems in the first part, though I'm not positive about the second. May as well collect them, just to be sure! You have to do these two stages back-to-back, you can't select one individually. Which is a little annoying when you've only missed the A++ grade on one of them, and aren't positive you even got it until after you've finished both and checked. The encores are all unlocked at the same time after the finale is completed. These are basically timed, more challenging normal stages, and are completely optional. But, you know. Do 'em.

There are plenty of other modes besides just rolling through the basic story mode by yourself. There's also an insane mode which forces you to start the entire level if you die even once! Did I mention there's an achievement in it, for you? There's also a co-op story. That also has an insane mode, in case there's anybody left in your life that you don't completely hate, yet (Stamper notwithstanding)! There's also an arena, which has eight different gametypes, including a fun sort of basketball game, a race to finish a level first, one where you have to rub up on all the tiles to change them to your team's color (my personal favorite), and of course just plain ol' beating the crap out of each other!

You can, of course, play community-built stages, as well, in single player, co-op, AND arena varieties. These don't get you gems (the currency for unlocking new prisoners) or yarn (the currency for unlocking new weapons) unless they're featured, but they'll help ease the shakes you'll get when you're jonesing for a BattleBlock fix.

BattleBlock's difficulty is fair, and has a good learning curve. The music is all pretty groovy and gives you something easily worth listening to as you step on that obvious trap and die like an idiot.

Pro´s:

+ Extremely creative and fun level & puzzle design
+ Slick gameplay with precise controls
+ Fantastic humor
+ Easy to create servers
+ Great co-op and multiplayer modes
+ Editor with Steam Workshop integration
+ Character customization

Con´s:

- Few very minor bugs, barely worth mentioning

- Overall rating: Is a 14/15 (Must Own!)

Terraria is a sandbox, RPG, action, etc. 2D game. It does it's thing very well. I haven't noticed any UI bugs, or ones that I have, are fixed almost instantly after the patch is released. The gameplay it provides is not only smooth, it is addicting and fun. The combat system in the game is perfect for me, and a lot of others. There are so many enemy types in this game that are not copy paste, each one does their own thing and has their own weaknesses & strength's

Example on the kind of enemies you could come across.
Normal walking/running enemies, that have a soul objective to charge you until death. These may include enemies like the zombie or skeleton.
As there are other enemies who will do the same thing, but in a different way (So not everything is copy/paste.). Like the slime enemy type, which come in many varieties, which will bounce towards you. Or the spider enemy type, which will walk on the ground, but can also climb on the walls to get to you quicker. Just to name a few.

In the world of Terraria, there are alternate versions of almost everything. What I mean by this is, each world you have will not be the same. For example, there is a 50/50 chance when loading a world to have the default version of something, or the alternate. Such as the music that plays, there are different tracks for the same biomes, just depends on what random one you got. Or for textures on things like, grass, and trees. Also things like ore, in a default world you would have Copper as your basic ore, but in an alternate world, you'd have Tin as your basic ore. What this does is really expands the play time someone can spend in Terraria. Allowing a single person to play the game over and over, and never have the same experience.

Below the surface are loads of blocks, dirts, ores, and more. Ore like Copper, Tin, Lead, Iron, Silver, Platinum, Gold, Cobalt, etc. And blocks like normal dirt, clay, stone, mud, cobwebs, and so many more. You need these ores to make your weapons and armor. You can find treasure deep underground, that holds many valuable things. You can increase your maximum health by finding Life Crystals underground.

The weapon range in this game is massive. You even have magic weapons, like spell books, and mana weapons. There are also bows, swords, pickaxes, axes, guns, lazers, cannons, familiars, and so much more.

PROS
+Loads of content for hours of game time.
+Great combat system.
+Smooth gameplay, that's easy to slip into.
+Provides a good challenge.
+Fun and creative boss battles.
+Amazing side events that you cannot resist.

CONS
-No infinite world option.
-Still no easy way to download mods/texture packs.

This is a quite fun little game. But the problem is:
It´s cost. I would accept it if it would be 0.99 € or less.
