Very good and cute metroidvania

It's Peak

Very good puzzle game about learning and translating languages. Takes about 9-10h to complete, never really makes you feel stuck (and if you do, keep exploring).

Has some stealth sections but failing them is forgiving and the game auto saves often.

Game does a good job at teaching you the rules of the dialects and gives you enough hints to get you going.

Clever, the game is.

Cool little puzzle game.

Takes around 3 hours to complete, each area comes with each own unique twist to puzzles introducing new elements along the way. Doesn't overstay it's welcome

Game makes you feel smart for thinking "outside the box" and puzzles are not that hard that you have to look up the solution.

One of the best co-op experience I had this year.

50h in, there's still no bear romance.
Edit: 100h in, still no bear, becoming suspicious

A cute platformer metroidvania that basically inspires heavily from Hollow Knight and Dark Souls. It has everything you would expect, multiple weapons to use, upgrades, bosses, backtracking to unlock areas you couldn't unlock before, benches to rest and nice music.

Controls aren't as good as they were in Hollow Knight but they work, my main complaint is that I get locked into attack animation that I can't dodge out off, but that's me being a dummy mostly. This gets improved once you get several upgrades to your abilities but the start can be a bit rought.

Edit after 100%
Took me like 15h to do every achievement. Decided to give NG+ a try only to find out that every monster is more agressive and certain enemies have new abilities. Now this is how you do a NG+. Color me surprised.
