if you need 400 mods to play the game, i think the devs did a ♥♥♥♥ job

modders are great, they make it worth playing, but jesus the worst implementation of VR

they made a video game about me

kinda like a arpg but all the spells are kinda like combos off all the buttons? idk its been a long time since i played it and it wasn't super memorable besides that for me

its cool for the unique controls i guess try it out but i personally didnt find it so engaging id still be playing this day and age

the cake is a lie

kinda reminds me of advance wars/fire emblem in the respect that you have so far you can move and the rpg rolls against enemies but its 3d so you can move a bit more freely

i played coop for a bit, gameplay seems like it gets pretty deep for an rpg so if youre an rpg lover i think you would like this. i just didnt end up playing with the same person so i didnt continue playing

portal 1 was such a masterpiece that this had me worried that it would be like shrek 2 to shrek. but it really shined with the co op puzzles. I think that was the whole point, sure you can play solo but the co op was the bread and butter. just so fun with another person trying to figure out the puzzles

controls aren't up to snuff with modern platformers, and some of the grindy parts could be avoided but otherwise an amazing psychedelic journey. some games the story totally makes up for all the flaws and this one does that, a bunch of espers go to an esper camp and go into the minds of campers and teachers and what have you, and they all convey like some emotion or correlation to the mind. its a fun theme since it represents what it is to be human

great co-op shooter with a zombie motif. charming valve style with lots of character

kinda like l4d but with your robbing banks and shooting hordes of cops

very arcadey feel, but the missions are fun

I mostly played in VR and that made some missions and things hard to learn because im also learning a weird control scheme as it wasn't built for VR. It was also like button reload instead of motions, but at least the inverse kinematics are there and you can see VR players arms and stuff move

I had fun tho, at least theres a healthy online pop to play with VR since it has 2D players. lots to do and upgrade too to keep you coming back to "level up" so to speak
