Continues the same spaghetti shenanigans, but this time only in an office setting with easier stages.

Because the first Freddy was not too successful, you take control of Freddy 2.0. The scientist did not want to repeat the error of letting the spaghetti go free, so he got it a job in the game development office. The story is simple, but it seems better than the first part because it is a spoof of the Office series.

This also includes the iconic intro sequence, which features the similar tune and several characters working in the office. Similar to the series, they say a line or two to set the scene and express their sentiments about their new coworker.

Controls have not changed. You move by pressing two buttons for either end of a spaghetti and aim where you want to go, and jump by holding down one or both buttons. What has changed is that stages are a lot easier.
There are 40 stages divided into four seasons, although all of them take place in an office. Because of the setting and story, many stages simply want you to reach the target circle without running into any obstacles. Also, most stages are repeated, such as ping pong, swimming in the office fish tank, or pressing keyboard keys that returns from the first game.

There are still a few jumping stages where you can not touch the ground, but there are no stages where you have to race against the clock or avoid moving threats. The only painful stage is when you have to throw a piece of paper into the basket. Because of the spaghetti's mobility and randomness, you will have to replay the stage multiple times until you get lucky.

The game is short and can be finished in one hour, and each stage rewards you with an achievement.

Atmosphere and art is there, but it should come with a better interface and a lot better English translation.

Because the game is a sequel to a free visual novel game, the beginning bombards you with a lot of backstory. You are a detective who once solved a major case involving a scientist and his sex dolls. After developing his latest prototype, the scientist fell in love and fled with the doll. However, this doll series experienced a glitch and became violent. Long story short, you solved the case and turned off all but one of the dolls, which was reprogrammed and became your wife.

Despite the game’s unique camera angles and look, you do not have direct control over the character. The game is most convenient to play with a mouse because you still move about and interact with it using a cursor. Although the gamepad is supported, using it is difficult because you have to move the cursor slowly across the screen.

The left mouse button does the most of the work because the action changes depending on the hotspot, such as a speech bubble for characters or a cog for using anything. Everything else has a magnifying glass, prompting the main character to comment on it.

Because certain hotspots have a default action and a magnifying glass, you can switch between them with the right mouse button. The right button is also used to examine items in your inventory. There is no modern quality of life option that highlights all hotspots, so you are completely on your own.

Strangely, some hotspots do not provide any interaction. You can still see them, but no comments appear when you click on them. These hotspots may make the game more detailed, but they are also useless and a waste of time when attempting to use inventory items on them.

The characters have voices, but the tone is not satisfying. Not because of the French language, but because every voice has an unpleasant robotic filter applied to it. Most people will not understand it anyway, but the filter makes it sound too artificial and AI. There is no skipping, so when you click on something, you have to listen to the entire thing.

Due to French language, the game relies on subtitles. But the translation could use some tweaking because it’s literal, contains grammar mistakes, and sentences sound awkward in English. Sometimes text looks wrong or even feel like some of the text is missing. For instance, when you click on a television, the character says a lot but all you get for a translation is “television”.

Inventory management is standard. You simply click on an object to activate it, then select another hotspot to use it. While it is frustrating that an object is removed after an incorrect usage, forcing you to re-select it each time you wish to use it, it is far more annoying that you have to open the inventory with a separate button.

If you play with a controller, which is not recommended, all of the buttons are nearby. However, using a mouse makes for an uncomfortable experience. Instead of using the middle mouse button, you have to press the "I" key on the keyboard. You cannot hover the mouse to the top of the screen to display inventory or lock inventory to keep it on screen. This also means that playing with only one hand is out of the question.

Despite the problems mentioned above, the game flows nicely and is not very long. It’s more about the story than puzzles, so you don’t have to juggle with too many items. Also, you don’t have to travel between locations. You are taken to different but closed areas according to the story, and you can always check the objective list to find out what needs to be done in the current location.

Easy and brief deduction game in which you feel like you do not know the whole story.

The game begins without any introduction or tutorial. The setting is a museum, where we meet scientists Flore and her mentor Alaric. If you wish to learn more, you can read a short novel that is included as a PDF file, but the connection with the game appears to be minimal.

The main feature of the game is clicking on hotspots on the screen. Although these are not indicated, you can enable the hint option, which adds a little shine to important hotspots. Furthermore, the sparkle fades when you engage with something and learn everything you can from a hotspot.

Each hotspot has a default interaction that provides a deeper look at the hotspot and leaves a comment. Some are readable materials that teach you more about the game's universe. Hotspots can also be characters, however they have limited dialogue and cannot be questioned.

Movement is constrained because you can only move between static rooms with a single view. Because of the confined location, the game tackles this using distinct characters and times. This means that a room will have new hotspots based on which character you follow and when you visit it.

This does not sound that exciting because a location is limited to only a couple of screens. The location overview allows you to change both the time and the characters, but you can only click on what the game offers you. You can’t visit all times with all the characters.

Some of the hotspots contain clues. Once collected, you must click on the constellation icon at the top of the screen to review them. This is also where you will find the game's main goal: solve a case.

This is accomplished by clicking on stars and selecting a clue that may fit. To assist you, there is a path that leads via stars and suggestions that narrow down the available solutions. For example, if the hint is "Used by", you can deduce that it contains one of the characters.

You can attempt as many clues and combinations as you wish because there is no penalty for selecting the incorrect clue. If you make a mistake, the game will inform you that you have more or less than two stars incorrectly. It will not give you an exact amount. However, if everything is correct, a star will extend and reveal new stars that require clues. The objective is to fill all stars with the correct clue and solve the case. Since you have only a few stars, you can brute force the solution.

The game comprises three cases, each taking place in a different location yet following the same story. Unfortunately, the story feels disconnected because the cases are so widely apart. It involves some sort of mask that Professor Alaric hopes to employ to communicate with a mysterious being. There is also Major, who wants to stop him.

In conclusion, the game feels like fragments of a much bigger story. And, while the mechanics are intriguing, the detective aspect of the game is simple and will not keep you guessing.

Silly game with simple controls yet challenging stages that are just fair enough.

If the game's name is not enough of a hint, you play a spaghetti named Freddy. You were always an average spaghetti, but you had the good fortune of living in the home of a scientist who invented a contraption that gives objects consciousness. When you unintentionally fell out when the scientist was preparing dinner, you were chosen as the test subject.

This is a collection of small tasks that need you to fulfill an objective. You do this by pressing two buttons for either end of a spaghetti and aim where you want to go. Although you can go where you want by pressing only one button, using both buttons is faster.

It is comparable to the way worms move. However, the spaghetti will also need to jump, which is accomplished by holding down one or both buttons. Again, holding both buttons provides the greatest height. Aiming is fine, however there is some randomness because the spaghetti might slightly left or right of your desired path.

The game has a small story and takes place across 50 stages. They are divided into five distinct areas, such as the starting house, city, and so on. It begins when Freddy searches the internet for the purpose of spaghetti. When it discovers that they are being eaten, it swells in size and begins wreaking havoc around the city.

Progress is enjoyable since it requires you to accomplish something new each time. For example, you must smash flowers in the park, push a toolbox to a marker, or escape from cops. Regardless of the objective, the final step is to always reach a goal circle. A cool narrator with a sentence or two in each stage adds to the charm.

Difficulty is fair, however several objectives are based on physics, which may cause irritation. One of the early phases includes a ball being pushed into a goal, but simply touching it sends it flying forward. However, the stages are mixed, so you may struggle with one and then breeze through the next ten stages.

Despite some small struggles with controls, the game is not that long and can be beaten in less than two hours. Each stage rewards you with an achievement, and there are a few easy extra stages.

It focuses on the story of a young generation of dragons that discover things outside of the rigorous rules, and there are just a few mini-games.

First of all, you are not a dragon, despite the fact that the game revolves around them. In fact, you are a firefly who was nearly burned by Foam, one of the game's primary characters. Foam is also your first buddy when you decide to join the group on their search for gems, which are used as dragon food.

They are supposed to be hidden in castles once owned by knights who pursued dragons for their body parts. It is reported that the last knight was seen half a century ago, but this is swiftly proven to be false when one appears and drives the dragons away.

Foam belong to a group of six young dragons. Each one has a distinct personality and task. There is the leader Junior, adviser Zan, cool Blythe who says "dude" a lot, tough Krock, musical Tremble, and Foam, a dragon that has no idea what to do and is a mix of emotions.

The storyline is fine. It focuses on this new generation of young dragons, who may be the last because food is running out and the older dragons prefer to remain secluded in their volcano. However, while searching for solutions, each of the six dragons will make new friends, befriend old enemies, and discover secret talents and ambitions that were not permitted to develop within the dragon community.

The game is linear and contains multiple chapters. The gameplay is simple, as it consists primarily of walking about and interacting with hotspots. When you come close to these hotspots, you will notice an outline, and each hotspot has only one default interaction. So you will either talk with characters or comment on things found in the world.

You, the firefly, will accompany all six dragons. There is no choice because the game will assign you to a dragon based on the plot and chapter. When you gain control, you can walk around the limited arena and look for the hotspot that advances the story.

Characters may be asked a few questions. You do not need to remember what the characters say because the game is all about the story, not the puzzles. Although there are no voices, each character makes a grumble and other unidentifiable sounds. You can also pick how a dragon replies to a question. In general, you can be pleasant, unpleasant, or somewhere in between. However, the option is irrelevant.

At certain points in the chapter, you will play a mini-game. These spice up the progress through a linear story and are not hard. They also fit the dragons and their hidden talents, so Treble plays a rhythm game, Krock has to hit a sequence of keys, Blythe draws patterns, and so on. Talents often prove useful against the knight that shows up. Sadly, games are not that fun. The rhythm, for instance, throws notes backwards, uspide down, and pretty much makes the whole thing annoying and unfair. Especially if you decide to try the hard difficulty.

In conclusion, it has a nice story and decent low-poly art. However, the game is all about easy progress and doesn’t have complicated gameplay. If you want to get all of the achievements, you will have to play the game twice because there are decisions that lead to unique achievements. Although there is no chapter select, you unlock quick text that speeds up second gameplay.

Nice thriller in where you race against time to save your family, however one stage ruins an otherwise enjoyable experience.

You play the character of a detective with photographic memory, who excels at his work. Unfortunately, this has a negative impact on your family and eventually leads to your divorce. The anguish is amplified because the wife also takes your daughter.

So, when they decide to pay you a visit on your birthday, you avoid repeating past mistakes. You rush home to meet them after informing the boss that you are taking a few days off and will be unable to handle the huge case. But when you arrive, you find the place wrecked and your family gone. All you find are some clothes, a silenced gun, and a radio with a voice telling you to do what they say.

The game focuses on stealth. There are occasions when you can sprint and walk, but most of the time you must crouch and move slowly. If you stand up or run, you will be immediately chased because the enemy has excellent hearing. You must also avoid patrolling enemies.

Because there is no visual cue to indicate whether you are hidden or spotted, you must hide behind objects or in closets and listen for footsteps. Fortunately, the game does not cheat, and you will not be detected while crouching behind foes. The game uses checkpoints, so getting caught or failing a goal is not a big problem. They are relatively regular, so you will not waste too much time.

Progress is linear, and you will pass through five stages or locations. Your objective is to do precisely what the voice instructs you and do it immediately. That is because the objectives have a time constraint. If you try to do something else or do not obey the voice, your family will be killed. Objectives use waypoints to show you exactly where you need to go, eliminating the guesswork.

In addition to completing the objectives, you also clues. However, this can only be done between objectives because the voice dislikes deviations. Because no visual cues or waypoints are provided, you must locate them on your own by carefully inspecting the surroundings. Fortunately, you know how many there are, and they emit a faint glow when you approach close enough.

Clues are retained in your memory thanks to your photographic memory. There is some reasoning involved, as a couple of clues demand information from another. For example, information for accessing a computer. A nice quality of life aspect is that discovered clues are not erased if you are detected. Clues are vital for the best endings since you must enter the correct answers in the last stage.

The game is not very long, with only five stages, yet it manages to generate a pleasant mood. The story and voices are also nice. Unfortunately, the fourth stage spoils everything with ridiculous design decisions. Here, you must look for clues in a vast graveyard with sensitive troops patrolling the grounds.

Fog makes things even more difficult, and all you have is a thermal camera with an extremely low battery. Strangely, the camera did not require a battery just a few moments before. Clues cannot be seen with the thermal camera, which is another major issue because turning the camera on and off consumes significantly more power than simply leaving it on.

You will not enjoy stealth if you want to complete all achievements. There are two that want you to finish the game without being detected and killed. This is a waste of time because even a single error renders the achievement invalid and forces you to restart the entire game. One last thing I didn't like that much, which will bother you even more if you decide to replay the game, are scenes where you just stand there listening to long conversations. You can't skip those.

The story begins in the same way that any other indie horror game would: you discover yourself in an unknown location. You are not given any information about who you are or what you are expected to do. There is merely a normal-looking corridor, but the rubbish and black and white photos suggest it is anything but.

Your suspicions are confirmed when you exit through one of the doors and return to the beginning. It is the same corridor, but with some minor variations such as flashing lights, blood prints on the walls, or something else. Fortunately, this is not an anomaly game that requires you to look for discrepancies.

Instead, progress is based on triggers, so you go up and down until you witness an event that opens the door. However, you do have an option. As you progress through the loops, you will encounter two characters, each attempting to lure you to their own door. There is a woman with a disguised face who occasionally calls you on the phone, and a hideous monster who uses a radio. Both claim that they wish to protect you and that the other is lying.

Which part of the story you hear depends on which door you choose. It revolves around a murder of an entire family. Each loop provides further information about the event. You can switch between the two paths, but one side will inevitably win out. When this occurs, the other character becomes violent.

They will only chase you if you look away. The secret is to maintain your eyes on them while moving backwards. When you glance away, you will hear footsteps and the enemy approaching. If they seize you, the current loop will be reset. These parts can be irritating because you must look away to interact with objects.

The dark tint of the prompt makes interaction difficult. You usually need it to open the first door, which is tied to a poor design decision. When you enter the exit door into a dark room, you must turn around every time. Because the chamber is completely dark, you may be unaware that you have entered a new loop.

Another annoyance is that the game does not save. If you wish to see one of the two endings, you must complete the game in one session. Each path takes about 40-50 minutes, however this may rise if you have difficulty with chase sequences. Also, the paths are not that different. Except for a new point of view, the rooms are identical.

In conclusion, the plot is decent, but not memorable. It is also the game's main selling point, as there barely any jump scares.

The game has very little story. You are already inside the mansion at the start, and the reason is that you got lost in the forest and went to seek assistance. You quickly realize that you should not be strolling around the mansion, so you leave. However, the house will not let you.

The gameplay consists on running around the house looking for useful items. You can move left and right, run, and interact with objects. Running has a hidden stamina since you will get tired, but a little rest will restore it. Although the flashlight is turned on by default and does not require batteries, you can remove the darkness by selecting the less frightening option before starting the game.

The mansion is not large, and the rooms are small, so you will not get lost. Each area features at least one interaction, such as a drawer or container containing useful items, or a comment about a statue, artwork, or other asset. Because the game is about sex, the majority of the artwork contains a sexual undertone.

What’s more, you can masturbate on almost everything. Except for a repetitive animation and getting you tired, there’s no purpose for doing that. Well, to be fair, it’s used for one puzzle. But in all other cases, it will be dangerous.

The reason is that multiple creatures with enormous breasts prowl the premises. The first and most common is a huge woman who appears at random and chases you. The only way to escape is to run for a while or hide in a cabinet.

If one of them catches you, they will violate you and go away. This may not seem that bad, but if you masturbate too much or are already exhausted, you will lose the game. The feature is not a waste of time because the game is not difficult, and previously seen animations may be skipped. Sexual tiredness differs from running in that it persists, as seen by bubbles coming from your lips.

To avoid dying from exhaustion, you need to run to chambers with books where you can save your progress and regain strength. When saving, you can also see which monsters have awakened and will begin to appear throughout the house.

Because of the small location and very simple gameplay, you may complete the game in around two hours. Found objects make sense, and you know exactly where to use them. There is even a current objective provided to assist you.

Except for the gallery of unlocked scenes, there is no significant prize at the end. Also, you will not have to worry about missing scenes because there is a button that unlocks everything. The price might be a bit too high for the gametime it delivers, so I suggest you wait for a discount.

Has some indie appeal owing to the art and gameplay mechanics, but most will be turned off by bugs and a significant lack of polish and playtesting.

The introduction is brief and covers the hero's backstory. Long story short, when you were young, pirates raided your town and massacred everyone. After they severed your arm and left you on the street, you vowed vengeance. The story shifts a few years forward. Your determination was so great that you became the captain of your own ship. Now you must assemble a crew that will accompany you as you sail into the phantom sea and finally have your revenge.

While art is fine and distinctive, the cutscenes are not the best for two reasons. The first issue is that it does not allow you to read at your own pace because they move forward automatically. The speed is too high for someone who’s not fluent in English. This is related to the second issue: font selection and color make the words difficult to read. Sometimes, bright letters disappear in bright background.

Although you do not speak, you will encounter characters who have something to say. However, they speak in small letters that appear in a big speech box. Because much of the box is constantly empty, the letters should be larger and easier to see. This is annoying, but not critical.

Your character comes with all of the normal controls and moves that you would expect in such a game. There is the unmissable jump and double-jump, dash to avoid danger, skills, and two buttons for gun and sword strikes. Movement is floaty, but you don’t have to make precise jumps. Although ammo is limited, you can reload one round at a time by filling the bar with sword attacks.

Weapons deal random damage, however there are minimum and maximum limits. You are not limited to the basic weaponry; you can find five different swords and pistols during your adventure. Most are hidden behind secret bosses. While each has a special perk, there is no indication on damage, so you will not know if the weapon is effective until you equip it.

As previously said, your objective is to collect crewmembers. You can enter any of the three main stages from a map aboard your ship, so you can tackle them in whatever order you want. Each stage is unique and takes place in a distinct area, and the progression has a dash of metroidvania feel. This means that certain parts of a stage are blocked until you find the power to overcome them.

Each stage is decently sized, although it is not a large elaborate maze. Of course, there are certain dead ends with chests, but the majority of the stage contains enemies and threats. Enemies are diverse and decent. Because double-jump is available from the beginning, you can avoid and jump over most enemies. However, you are urged to kill them because they drop precious coins.

Coins are vital for the merchant island, where there are many merchants offering various items. The most important is the map guy. You will need to purchase numerous maps to fully uncover the stage, although they depict the entire layout, checkpoints, and boss rooms. They are not expensive, therefore it is best to get everything as quickly as possible. But maps don’t show secrets or hidden collectibles.

Other merchants sell weapons, extra slots, potions, and even a fishing rod that lets you fish at certain spots. Sadly, you won’t be able to afford anything meaningful because the economy is a disaster. Everything costs a fortune and you only get a handful of coins per enemy. The only way to get decent amount fast is to repeat boss fights, but even this is a waste of time because you don’t get enough.

Bosses is how you gain crewmates. They hit hard and have multiple attacks, so it may take a few tries to understand all of their moves. However, once you become acquainted and keep an eye out for the special attack they like to unleash after half of their health is depleted, they are not too difficult. When a boss is defeated, they appear on your ship as a member of the crew and reward you with a piece of eight.

These are special items having one active and one passive benefit. However, only one effect can be active at a time, and it is determined by which of the two eyes it is placed in. For example, passive enhances sword damage while active provides you with a special attack.

If something seems too difficult, you can simply return to the ship and go somewhere else. The unpleasant element is that you frequently have to walk to the beginning of the stage. This is rectified by allowing you to set up camps at particular spots within a level, but you must still reach them first.

Camps are extremely valuable because they appear on the main map, allowing you to jump to them without having to walk through the entire stage again. One thing to keep in mind is that enemies only respawn when you return to the ship, so you will not be able to grind for coins that easily.

Although stages aren’t that big, you can still get yourself killed quite easily because you only have three health bottles. Their number can be increased, but it’s very easy to fall into environmental threats such as spikes, electric weeds, fire, or something else. The big problem is that sometimes you don’t even know it’s a threat, like with innocent-looking mushrooms that blow up.

Death transports you to the Phantom Zone, where you have two choices: waste part of your coins or keep all of them and fight the Phantom Champion. The champion is not particularly strong, but it might waste a lot of time if you die frequently and have to repeat. Win or lose, you will respawn at the latest checkpoint.

Unless you run into a bug that takes away all your money. This can happen with very buggy boss fights where you might kill a boss, die, and then respawn with no money and boss still alive.

The puzzle game is short, but it may take longer than expected owing to unusual solutions.

The gameplay involves the use of two colors. Switching between them is easy and visible on the gun you are carrying. The mechanic is that the currently selected color solidifies items of that color.

So, for example, if an object of one color is placed on another color, it will just pass through as if it were not there. That is why shooting at an object allows you to change its color. However, because that would be too simple, some things are locked and cannot be modified.

A stage is a puzzle chamber that has switches, cubes, and platforms that respond to one of the colors. The right color required for opening or activating something is visible on the colored lines on the floor.

It begins off easy but becomes increasingly difficult over the course of 13 levels. The reason for this is that some have a solution concealed behind some weird mechanics that give the impression that you are cheating. For example, there are walls that change your color or prevent you from bringing anything inside. However, if you move it close to the edge, you can fool the rules.

There is a voice that introduces each stage and says a few phrases, but there is no major story or reveal. Unfortunately, nothing occurs once you complete all stages. You end up stuck within a room and have no choice except to return to the main menu.
