This is it. This is the single player EVE Online we have wanted. This is indie Star Citizen.

Its no where near as hard to learn as the older reviews would suggest. There are a number of various starting scenarios with 4 of them being Guided. Which means the game will show you how to do various parts of the game before setting you loose into the sandbox.

Or you can just go start in the sandbox and learn, die, repeat. Either method works. Or anything in between really. There will be things you google, but for a game this large that's the normal. Many people have googled their way through games like Bloodbourne and it's not seen as a decide.

X4, along with it's DLC is a magnitude of order larger than that game. So some bugs, and some googling are a small price to pay for a truly immersive space sim. You walk up onto your ship and actually sit down. Docking feels immersive but also isn't a pain in the butt. The fighter ships FEEL like a fighter.

A carrier actually launches S (small) class ships, not just special little drones or an item (though they ALSO have drones). You can get to the point where your literally launching your starter ship from your carrier with a pilot you found in some random sector and hired.

Wanting on full release Star Citizen? Not into the multiplayer of Elite Dangerous and Eve Online? Want No Man's Sky with more depth and space opera? With mod tools and Steam Workshop integration??

Yeaaa, this is the game. End of story.
