THE HOLY GOSH DARN is a fresh breath and fun times over and over through 6 hours (between 12:00-18:00 to be exact) on a Thuesday (Same thuesday as Manual Samual and Hellheim Hassle)
And going over and over through those 6 hours so we can save the world from beeing blown up! We need THE HOLY GOSH DARN! <3

The game is a bit hard, BUT not too hard, its always a solotion and just challenging (in a good way). I like that I have to make some of the game as a puzzle to make things in time. Love how the game makes you think. And sometimes its just about how long you are willing to wait through time to get what you need to move forward in the story. Because after you have been talking to some NPCs, you can skip it the next time you time travel. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes they just think you are rude when you skip the chitchat - and thats funny, because sometimes you are saying different stuff when you are avoiding them, and not hearing the exact same thing over and over when you are going through the time.
The game has voice actors through the game, with subtitles in different languages - after what you want to make the game the best for you.

THGD is made by the Norwegian Indiegame Company PERFECTLY PARANORMAL with a few people in making over the past 4 years. THATS AMAZING!
With this Thursday-triology (all three games: Manual Samual, Hellheim Hassle and The Holy Gosh Darn) where it's fine if this is the first game you play over the other ones. If you have played the other ones, it's just some extra "aww memories" or "OH there are those characters" - Conclusion: you don't lose any story.

Story maker Ozan (has so many voices in game) is brilliant! To come up with this timeline and where to go back n forth is so cool. I know some of the guys at Perfectly Paranormal and know how hard working they are. ANYHOW - this review is not based on how much I know them. I want to play fair here.

So it was an honor to stream through the whole game in one session at Twitch where some of the dev. (and voice actors) came by to see some bugs Ive discovered, how I played the game and to just watch me enjoy the game.

I did play through with little backtrack to find some stuff that wasnt needed to get to the credits, so overall around 7,5-8 hours. AND THATS NOT 100% the game with sidetasks!
And the achievements through steam is a hard one! So that's many hours to use in this game!
But the "map" in game is easy to navigate - and you will easy remember where to find what. If not it's a good thing with the "backpack" where you have all logs on where you found who.

The norwegian game makers needed this - because its one of the best Norwegian games made for this year, 2024!

Even how bad I am in this game, I cant do anything than keep trying. Im addicted to the game design, colours, the rush of getting qualified or not.
I dont feel that you have to play with friends to have fun. You can just play by yourself - which is what i usually prefer. And believe me, the time flies!

I love playing this with some of the goofy good music from Super Mario Galaxy or just any music.

I have only heard bad things about this game, and I belived that...

The first thing I have to say is, the soundtrack in this game is pretty good! I enjoy that while playing.
I like how it is voiced, even I can hear its different voice actors, but that happends!

I have been playing this game on a hard difficuly, but wont say its hard. Only got A and S on the stages.
So far ive met one stage (I think it was stage 7) that was really annoying. Lets say, it was bugged. You couldnt run slow on the gears so most of the time you ran over it and had to start from the last checkpoint.

I also think its fun to make our own character! And while you play, you get more clothes and other wear. And even get more special stuff if you get "S" on the stages!

I think the price is a bit high. But I bought it on the summersale, so it was a better price. But if you can afford it, and like Sonic games. This is a game for you! It take us back with some bosses and other games (ex. Sonic CD, Sonic XD, Sonic Generations)

Overall score from me after playing 80 minutes: 8/10

- Adventure mode: its fine. alot to read if you want to know all stuff. BUT LOVEEEE

- VR: MY LIFE IS COMPLETE.

After seeing through gameplay others made and finally got the final season myself on Steam so I can play myself later, I think it's time for me to give an review.


I have been following this series since the very beginning, artstyle got better and better, people in game grew up and some of them dies. But it's one person we have been following since the beginning. That's Clementine. We have been there since she was 8 years old, and in the final season she is 16. And she lost people over and over. But she would never let AJ go. She want to be what Lee was for her *tears*.

• Lets get back to the art style: it still have the same kind of style as it started with. Im happy they took a step back instead of keep going with the same as season 3. Good job Telltale (and Skybound)!
  
• Story: This seasons story is starting on the road, trying to find a new home where AJ and Clem can be safe. We don`t know (yet) what happened to AJ on the farm/range and how Clem saved him. They find a new place with people on around her own age, even for AJ. This is new from the other seasons.
  We will also meet people we have not seen in many years.
  And the ending... OMG. Spoiler but also not much spoilers: I cried so bad. Screaming. But I'm so glad the ending went another direction! Then, I cried because I was happy.
  
• Gameplay: I think this is a bit different. I like its more gameplay, or I did in the beginning. I like how they are trying new things so people don't get tired. And glad we can make our own choice for the most part.

We would never knew what would happen without Skybound taking over for half of the season. The #StillNotBitten team made a good ending. Never played a game with such a strong and powerful story. You should play this game from the start, the first season, then next season all the way till you get back here till the last final season. I actually hope the game is done now, the ending was a good ending. Don't ruin that Skybound!!

And it's now time to finally play this season myself after getting a copy on Steam.
Let's start from the beginning. "A new day", season 1.
Let's take us back... back where it all started.

I never thought I would speak to so many peoples in one time. I thought it was only trolling all the way (do not misunderstand me, it is a lot of trolling aswell) but it is more than that. I met some cool people to talk to. We are not talking about that much but having fun anyway.

Im not playing with VR atm, sadly. (too expencive...) but I enjoy it in desktop mode, even I think it is much better with VR!
It is so many different characters. That makes it even more personal when you pick an avatar (even its not personal since it might be that you didnt import it, so someone else has it aswell)
All I want is to be in the game to meet and speak to people.

I guess I have much left to learn. So far while im typing this, Ive only played this for 2-3 days. So I guess I will catch more stuff up that I dont know yet, and Im looking forward to learn new stuff! :D
SO FAR, SO GOOD !!

Takes me back to Super Mario Sunshine and GameCube times.
