I do love instagib here much more than in Quake Champions because here you have railjump, more settings to adjust the game for yourself and uniformed hitbox (against QC where everybody picks Nyx). There are no abilities as well so in instagib you can test your pure skill. 2024 is almost over and there are some people still active.

This is a pretty good free software with plenty of options. One great feature is that if you record videos using Nvidia Experience, the crosshair won't be included, which is a big plus. However, the program doesn't work with fullscreen games—you'll need to enable borderless window mode to use the crosshair. To get it working in fullscreen, you'll need to purchase the paid version (Crosshair X).

An exceptionally fun top-down shooter. It's nice to come here once every 5-10 years.

There is one non-obvious and therefore underestimated fact that Valve brought to the gaming industry. Words cannot express how happy I am that they are developing and support CS 2 and Dota 2. It's really an incredible job to get and keep so many idiots in these games so that they don't interfere with normal people in good multiplayer games.
Just imagine HOW MANY r3tards would spoil our games with their presence if such games did not exist, it’s mind boggling. And Valve is a leader in saving our favorite games from them.

Idk. The plot appears incredibly stupid right from the start. I attempted to begin the game twice, but both times, I couldn't muster the motivation to progress beyond the first 20 minutes.

You plummet from a plane into a random location, survive, enter a seemingly arbitrary tower in the middle of the sea containing a guardless capsule. Pulling a lever, you're transported to an underwater city, where you engage in killing some people, found an unknown substance, inject it into yourself without understanding its nature, and promptly lose consciousness. The first time I tried the game (10 years ago), I simply gave up at this point. Now, on my second attempt, I managed to endure an additional 5 minutes, but when the announcer presented a quest, the stone-faced protagonist didn't pose a single question about WHAT THE F#CK JUST HAPPENED.

Personally, I don't really like the setting either.

Definitely better than Amnesia: The Bunker.

+Graphics and visuals. The game is polished and visually appealing. The decision to use the Unity engine for this game proved to be extremely successful.
+Story. Quite engaging and serves as a continuation of the first game. This is the main highlight, making it worth playing. Moreover, you don't have to go through the previous game as its events are explained here.
+/-Setting. While this aspect of the story is generally good, there are a few moments that could have been executed better. For instance, the main character sometimes behaves stupid, failing to understand what the player has already grasped and also he makes less obvious decisions.
=SEX & FAP. I wasn't here for explicit content, but as a heads-up for those seeking adult-themed games, this isn't what you're looking for.
-Collectibles and puzzles. Similar to the previous game, this remains the weakest part. The puzzles are often unclear or illogical, so I highly recommend use YouTube. Additionally, you can't revisit a chapter to collect missed items, a significant drawback as these collectibles contribute to a better understanding of the game world. One particularly frustrating puzzle involves an invulnerable enemy, scripted to always approach you, making it impossible to hide. Quite unpleasant.
-Autosaves and Chapter Structure. The autosave intervals quite extensive. As mentioned earlier, the inability to selectively choose a chapter for replay means you have to restart the entire game to explore alternative endings. Again just use YouTube.

In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed this product. Many elements are executed at the highest level.

It's evident that the developers drew inspiration from the Amnesia series.

+Appearance. While some locations, objects, and NPCs may appear a bit cheap, the overall graphics are beautiful.
+Plot. This stands out as the highlight for me. The concept of presenting stories conveniently in a chronological journal with the ability to read a summary is excellent and incredibly useful. I wish more games adopted this approach.
+/-Localization. I chose Russian subtitles to understand the plot better, but there are some errors in the texts. Although the game supports 11 languages.
-Sound design. Bad and significantly impacting the impression and immersion.
-Puzzles. These are more annoying than entertaining. Use YouTube so as not to waste your time.
-Auto-save. It doesn't work as usual and often having a considerable gap between saves.
-Collectibles (side stories). There is no way to choose which chapter to start from in order to collect what you missed, you can only start the game from the beginning. The method for obtaining the "Arcanes of Lusst'ghaa" stories is far from obvious. This is extremely important because you learn about the world through it.

The 68% positive reviews on Steam seem justified. However, the game overall gives off a demo version vibe, seemingly crafted by amateurs. I know that the next "Lust" game was rated much better, I will definitely play it.

In the last couple of decades, there has been a romanticization of various scum - vikings, barbarians and other primitive dirty savages. Personally, this has always disgusted me, and that is why I like to play as a warrior of civilization and slash stupid animals in rags one by one. This fact is enough for a positive review, but let's go over the main points.

+Incredibly beautiful. The game from ten years ago looks better than most modern AAA projects. The locations are varied. Screenshots are attached below.
+Optimization. Follow the instructions here if you are experiencing performance issues.
+Gameplay. Quite cheerful. Reminds me of the Batman: Arkham series.
+Plot. Minimalist and linear in a good way.
+Price. I bought the game for about 25 cents on sale and my conscience is now weighing me down because the game costs way more than that.
+/-Short. But without unnecessary details and straight to the point.
+/-Casuality. I would like more complexity in the game, it is quite easy for the average player.
-Legendary difficulty. Not available until the game is completed for the first time. Cons cause as mentioned above, the game is easy and lacks a challenge, although the basic mechanics allow this to be realized.
