A blast with friends, and it's even better when everybody is completely clueless
Surprisingly very intuitive with its gameplay loops on every difficulty and level; each having a different primary objective and creature(s) to avoid
The game itself is all about management and strategy through cooperation at its core
I found myself alongside my friends each on our toes together experiencing thrill and excitement that the game brought us
Please give the game a chance, especially with friends

A walking allusion all about Dead By Daylight; this game is heavily targeted towards the major DBD audience and those interested about the deeper lore of the base game
My only nit-picks are the wasteful coin-flip options that lead to fate changes for absolutely no reason as well as the occasional softlocks that are still yet to have been fixed
I found myself enjoying this probably more than I should've despite crying and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ myself every time I saw the re-used DBD generator model again for what the third time in the whole game
Pacing of the game might be a little off-putting, and story-wise you'd understand it more again if you initially play and know some decent lore about Dead by Daylight
In terms of budget and gameplay length, I'd say wait for a sale first
Again, it's not for everyone

Purgatory

Still significantly better than the 3rd 'rendition' of the game
It's got pretty much everything included with as much replay-ability as you can think of whether it's solo, with friends, or randoms; and even despite the absurd amount of DLC's and no new updates, it shouldn't really affect you much in game since there's already so much to do in game through means of customization, perk decks, stealthing, etc.
