86.7 hrs on record
Having completed most of the games in this genre since it began, I was excited to try Black Geyser. My first playthrough took about 85 hours on veteran difficulty. If you're a fan of the genre and need a new installment, I'd recommend this for you.

The story in the game was well put together, and it kept me interested throughout. That said, for playing on the 2nd hardest difficulty I felt that many of the encounters were relatively easy. I was a little disappointed because I amassed lots of potions and dusts (and all of the recipes) thinking that they would be necessary, but I hardly found any of these things necessary to use throughout the game... aside from a few of the more significant battles.

I believe a patch came out to fix the difficulty issue while I was playing the first game, and overall the developers seem really responsive to bug reports. I think a patch came out each month I played it. I intend to come back and replay this with a new character on the opposite side of the story line. I multi-classed a shaman/rogue and that was kind of weird and redundant to the companions available. If there are any sequels I'd hope they make the spell system and skills a little more robust.

The few bugs I encountered in this game were:
-A few companion quests didn't seem to like the order that I completed their steps in conjunction with the main story line (fixed).
-brewing/drying would freeze up the game momentarily.
