This campaign is extremely good. The atmosphere is superb. It really feels like you are in 9th century Dane lands or Britain. It feels authentic and it feels sophisticated.

The story is exciting and engaging and your choices matter. Unlike the original game you have a clear goal in this campaign, which I love, and it feels clearly more like an RPG now. The ship battles bring a new aspect to the already great combat system of Mount & Blade and there's many other smaller, intelligent gameplay features that make the game more complex and simply better than the original.

My wishes are that many more gamers would experience this fantastic campaign and that we'll one day get some sort of sequel set in the same era.
