It's good game, however the prices for DLCs even after 6 years almost never go below 50% at best.
With the amount of DLCs they have released + HF2 release you would think that they would do some sale as most other devs do, but nah, they will charge more then great AAA games on sale just for 1 DLC pretty much.

Not recommended just because of DLC strategy that they have.

You got disappointed by Starfield just as i did?

Well then play this one instead, an actually fun RPG, where there is enough to do and explore + the dialogue skills are great, quite an unique setting as well. Fun little experience.

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Technical Disaster of an Edition and to be frank, its boring as well, no pink nostalgia glasses over here.

First off, as title says, technical mess, to run this on modern computer it is just pain, install this, install that, fixes doesn't work, oh, because GTA 4 just can't leech off Integrated GPU, no matter what i did it just didn't want to. Have to appreciate R* coding and overall competency at this point, if modder fixes GTA 5 load times, what can you expect from older games, not gonna even mention Max Payne 3, with its broken and unbalanced MP and unskippable cutscenes when for 100% you need to complete game 6 or so times, don't remember and don't event want to.

After few hours when i got it to work "smooth", not that smooth as at random times it would still drop frames, which would feel like lag or at specific locations. I just kinda broke my loading times by making game smoother, which even on SSD where 1-2mins, some cutscenes had several of loading screens. Well at least thank you community for doing what an actual company can't do at this point.

Oh yeah, they released an update some time ago, which guess what, instead of making game better, dunno what exactly it did, but it capped your vram in-game to 512MB, why? you may ask, i don't know, really, they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed.

Okay, now about gameplay, it's just fine, that's it, story is mediocre, and concept for me doesn't click, NBs narrative is always i need money i need money, ♥♥♥♥ dude, all you can spend your cash on is bullets, which in 70 hours i did twice, rest of the money just kept going up, money is pretty much useless, no property buying no nothing, just an illusion.

Driving is cool and fun, but after some time, even that can't help it.

I'am just honest, it's a technical mess and quite frank it's boring.

Oh yeah, and at certain thing r* didn't even code in escape button, which cause me to loose progress for few missions, because auto save is just god awful, 2 times game crashed as well, and lost 2-3 missions worth of progress.

If you own it, good for you, try to fix what r* didn't, probably will have smoother ride to fix then me, if you don't then better leave it at that.

Not worth it with modern systems. R* is overrated.

There are game that are hard and fair, but then you try Forts, where hard is furthest away from fair.

Game is meant for a small niche of players, where you have to be pin point precise, playing campaign on hard, there are missions in which you need 2 things: Luck, so that enemy misses, and pinpoint precision so that you don't make a single mistake.

For fellow achievements hunters, save your nerves, life is too short and good to be spoiled with this.

So as a completionist my goal is to get all achievements, sometimes stuggle becomes so real that you get frustrated, angry etc.

This DLC is as i like to say hard =/= fair, in hard diffciulty, which is required to 100%, you have to do everything so fast that sometimes you think that it is not possible, you do again again and again and the frustration just becomes bigger,
Campaign wise, opinion based on hard difficulty, it's unfair to the point of ridiculous, it is possible, but is it worth it? No, if you are completionist i would say that you should avoid this one as a plague ONLY because of this dlc, just feels like devs themselves didn't complete all onjectives on hard, but hey, why should they, if they can do the opposite of what every product should.

Not recommended.

Review for Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™ ( *No Spoilers* )

Positive side:
  • Story: It continues where you left off in Shadow of Mordor. Cutscenes are superb, the way story is presented through them is superb aswell but as the story itself goes it is okay. Don't get me wrong it's not bad, not at all, but it won't be most memorable thing out there. It's good in any case. Good story for Talion and conclusion to his story.

  • Nemesis system: It's fantastic, feels just as good as it did in Shadow of Mordor. Making your uruks infiltrate as spies and easily conquering fortress, oh man that just feels good and satisfying all that preperation really feels worth it.

  • Combat: Those who have played Batman, Mad Max will feel right at home when engaged in combat because it's all that was in those games kind of. Overall satisfying experience and progression system which up to a point is excellent as you want to unlock new skill to make your fights way more fun with new possibilities. And interesting choice of subskills, there are 3 or in some 2 of which you can choose 1 of them which will suit you. Gives you a choice which is nice.

  • Enemies: I mean every uruk captain feels and is different, but their introductions can get little annoying by the end of the game, should have had option to skip them. And ofcourse many other ones, especially Balrog, that one actually felt powerful and as a real threat, amazing.

  • Setting & Atmosphere: Lord of the rings universe with known characters, medieval-ish, game gives you (if i remember correctly 5 different locations). From snowy mountains to lava filled terrain, location design is great and locations feel refreshing. Good atmosphere and vibe.

  • Fun: Very fun.

  • Achievement hunter view: Not hard to 100% even with collectibles which feel varied and for me never felt as a chore to pick up just to get 100%. Takes about 50ish hours to 100%.
Why should you wait for sale:
  • Negative side: Unskippable enemy introductions and that's about it for me.

Overall decision.
Worth it.
