Excellent game, worth your time

Very atmospheric, creative platforming mechanics, and plenty of secrets to uncover after beating the game. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

It's great

This game is awesome, nothing else to say.

Great mechanics that reward teamwork, endless caves that satisfy the need to explore, and enemies that will make you ♥♥♥♥ yourself as you try to escape.

I could not recommend this game more to anyone who likes to shoot things in an adrenaline fuelled frenzy.

To many, this game is really simple and quite repetitive without much to offer. However, once you get past the early game shenanigans and start understanding the "goal" of maxing out your character, RotMG is one of the most fun games I have played to date.

With huge amounts of content, complicated pet dynamics, insane dungeons, and its own flourishing market based on potions; I now understand the addiction and definitely recommend trying this game out. The exalt open beta makes the game 200x more enjoyable.

you go really fast in circles. yes.

You spend an initial 5 hours scraping the bottom of people's fridges for food, barricading a house as a temporary base, scouring Rosewood for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jack, whisking and weaving your way around hordes of zombies; and then, on a nice warm summer morning, you decide to check one last house for some basic resources. You open the door to the last room you need to check, the closet. In an instant, a zombie rushes you, and you kill it instantly. However, that familiar ripping noise obliterates your ears. You know its bad... but how bad? Ah, just a scratch. I can get over this easily. You disinfect, bandage, and make sure that the wound is well taken care of. 3 hours later, you notice that you're health is deteriorating, you are anxious and nauseous. Anything you do can't seem to take the edge off. You continue barricading, continue fighting for your survival. The truth slowly dawns on you, there is no way out. There is no way to save yourself. You push as long as you can. And then, unspectacularly, you die. Hours gone by for you to ultimately die a slow and painful death.

The unforgiving and daunting nature of this game makes it absolutely worth trying. While it may take some time to get used to the mechanics, it is well worth the struggle.

I highly recommend this game.

Unfortunately, for many reasons that aren't entirely clear to me, the player base has dwindled and the developers are no longer going to focus on this game.

I wish there were something we could do, as a community, to try and increase the appeal and player retention because this games deserves more.
