To start off, Forts is a very fun game with a great worms/basebuilding genre feel.

The core of the game is pretty much top notch already, Physics are great, AI are quite the challenge (Sometimes a tad too predictable though). Weapons that are in the game are very cool and have quite good variety for teh alpha stages of this game.

At this the moment in time i feel like the price range is a bit steep for the amount of content however, the reason i purchased this game was because i have faith in the Devs and the fact that they will keep the game updated and add more and more content and by just looking at the reviews and seeing that the Devs are actively replying to the customers queries gives me a great deal of hope for the future of this game.

Maybe a little bit of constructive criticism to take on board here, but at this moment in time it kind of feels like its a rush to higher level equipment due to the fact there are not all too many reliable counters to weapons like the cannon and lazer. However im very sure this issue will be simpily fixed in the future by the addition of more content like more towers, defences and upgrade routes.

I have high hopes for this little game and wish good luck to the Devs.

Ok, so to start, this game has everything required to be a great if not flawless game. Dont get me wrong, in a great majority of aspects, this is an amazing game.

Amazing combat features
Balanced gameplay (Well maybe except orochi, that bugger is a fast one :P)
In depth customization, making your warrior feel unique in some aspects.
And a whole great deal more.

However, im giving this a thumbs down the same reason why over 50% of the community did. The connection.

Now, i can understand the connection and netcode being as bad as it is maybe on the first week of the launch. However many weeks have passed and the netcode and connection is still atrocius, and it seems no effort is being put to fix this issue. The fact that it runs with peer to peer connections is a whole other f**k up aswell, like what were thay thinking!?

In conclusion the core of this game is extremely solid with unlimited potential for new heroes to be added and even more customizable options. I will still play the game, as the times i do get to play i enjoy it. However i would not reccomend anybody reading this review to purchase the game until they fix these major issues (Its ubisoft so i wouldent expect a fix anytime soon, but i still hope). And if you really feel like you need to purchase this game, because of friends or what not, then i would STRONGLY recommend buying this on sale.

If ubisoft step up thier game, i will most likey buy the season pass, and any other addons that are presented to me, until then i am not spending another penny on this game, and regret the price i paid to start of with.

One of the best Total War games yet. May even be better than Shogun!! Each race has a completely different unique feeling than the other. Looking forward to new races and heroes being added aswell!
