After playing this since August 12 2016 I'm finally leaving a review.

Since 2016 I was disappointed but still played the game. but Hello Games has turned this game around a complete 1080 and they still impress with each FREE update. FREE update with bug fixes and hot fixes. I'm actually impressed that a developer after literally failing at launch turned this game around to be what it is today.

When I mention FREE updates. It's damn near close to FREE DLC technically. but just with updates. I believe again and again and again they just keep improving the game, adding more content all because they want to make this game right.

I've never seen a developer do that.

I promise for those who don't own the game, DO IT and buy it, For those who have bought it and gave up on it. Play it again!

Thanks Hello Games for making this game be a let down then instantly the dream I was hoping for back in 2016.

I cannot say more good about this game then what has been said. This game was just released May 8th 2024. The fact that it has this much content and the DLC packs are insane! Here is my breakdown.

I wanted a vampire game that I can be just that a vampire! And make my own castle. my own nest. you can do that and decorate as you please. And more!.

I'm going to be honest though. the one thing I don't get is when you FEED on victims or drain their blood. Your Vamp does like this WOOSH thing and then puts his hand on the victim instead of actually tilting the head and just GNAWING down on the neck.

One thing I have to say though. I'm not a fan of the top down style game play mechanics. But I wouldn't have it any other way with this game.

I would love to see a PHOTO mode be implemented. So I can see my whole castle. I would love to see the options of more customize options. I'm still a baby in this game compared to some of the hard vets. so maybe it will have that. but I'd like to put candles or dishes on my long table etc.

I also heard from a youtuber. that he wanted a dungeon and I can't shake that! literally on how cool it would be to add a basement style or dungeon to your domain.

I can't stress enough that this def cures the itch for my want for a vampire game,

HARDCORE recommend this game to anyone who has doubts. Just grab it and I promise you'll enjoy it.

There is nothing like Dayz, I played since Days stand alone launch, I quit and came back quit and came back repeatedly.

The reason I quit was in the beginning it was rough! Not just the mechanics of the game but huge break down events, seeing through walls, spawning under houses, zombies in floor boards, not being able to enter some buildings not having tent or crafting bases etc to call your own.

Nothing, it was bare bones as it got and I still sucked, thirsty, hungry, don’t know where to go (still don’t mostly).

But one thing I learned, is how to survive, fire, food, thirst, sickness and to keep that plus sign up! And always and I mean always keep warm.

Once you learn the fundamentals like that, the rest is absolutely a blast! Especially when you have that knowledge and then run into a player, fight or flight!

Anyways have fun and yes DAYZ is ONE of the best survival hardcore PVP unforgiving games out there. It’s rewarding, Dayz giveth and boy oh boy does she taketh away. At the same time.

The game is great. I think the Dev's need a flame thrower under their butt to get the game going and I don't want Deadside to be "Dead" I have 118 hours of play time as of writing this. I believe they need consistent updating, more involved in the community, and to Ban Cheaters. This game has so much potential.

Firstly this game does not hold your hand! it is very difficult at first. You have to maintain your Nutrients Fats, protein, Carbs and water intake. That's just the half of it. Where I finally am able to sustain a living (for now) I still have to worry about the natives as they will kill on site. I'm learning to build and to create better weapons and tools so sustain a life in the jungle. Snakes, spiders, natives, infections bee's etc. etc. are all a huge factor when trying to survive.

I'm writing this because I feel that if you want a true survival game where you have to find dry leaves and make a handrill and practically feel yourself blowing to create that ember for your fire? I promise you won't go wrong.

I'ts like if Stranded deep and The Forest had a baby. Both Solid survival games. but I believe this one captures it a little more true to the point. Getting mud on you, drinking dirty water can cause parasites in your stomach, Vomiting, exhaustion. All really do play a huge role in this game.

It gets tedious because you have to find and chop down trees just to make your hut and fires etc. but isnt that what survival is about? All in all you will not go wrong with this game. As I am still fairly new with this and yet I don't feel as if I made a dent to what this game has to offer.

Have a rash? Gotta find the plant that you can create a leaf banadage out of. Combing that plant with another plant can create an antibacterial type bandage.. It's pretty intense and can't wait to see what this game has to offer in the future of its development. Hope this help.. Oh and yes I waited to buy this too so why don't you just buy it?

I love how people are posting negatively about this game and they have 1,400+ hours.. And plus lots of people are hating on the fact that Rockstar has made X amount of money just by the game alone. Who cares how much they make... Ok anyway onto my little review I think that game is great, the game is a nice fit for the series so buy it now. thanks..

Put your hands up or die! Altis Life

35.8 hrs in the last two weeks and 175.7 hrs on record of me playing it. Honestly one of the great comes to come out of steam and or Bohemia. Been playing this game non stop and can't get enough. King of the hill, Co-op missions, single player, Altis life, MODS like Breaking point, Epoch, Life, and many many more that you can play with just this one game.

The game so far is great! But so much work is ahead for the community and team to bring this game up to one of the best survival games out to date..
