The MMORPG that keeps on giving. You always kinda know what to expect with their patch rotations because they have a pattern and like to stick with it. But they're still coming up with fresh ideas to this day (i.e. Island Sanctuaries, new PvP changes, new Jobs). It's the MMORPG that's made with the most love, you can tell. The devs put a lot of thought and care into just about every aspect if you look for it. And this is reflected in the kind and lively playerbase - much more so at least than some other MMOs.

It might take a while to get "caught up" but half the fun is in the trip honestly - particularly if you're a fan of a good fantasy story. Plus, old content still gets played thanks to their Duty Roulette system and having old mounts/spells/glamour to farm.

Having just finished the entirety of their whole major story arc with the conclusion of Endwalker, I felt it deserves my positive review at last haha. Just give it a whirl - you aren't likely to be disappointed if you know what you're diving into.
