Fun game but jockeys as bots are too overpowered. They can get on your head when they jump below you. I played the game when it first came out many years ago and first played it on the Xbox 360. Then I moved on to the PC version mainly because of the mods and that I still enjoy playing the game. The game released in 2009, so it is an old game so having a non-gaming laptop can still run on lowest settings. The game has a great balance in difficulty, strategy, and teamwork. It all based on the cooperation and the skill in each. The game has director that watches the players' performance, which pretty much controls the gameplay throughout the campaign. Goes like this, if the team does poorly and suffered many lost in health, the director will spawn more medical supplies and better weapons later on the map. Also, decreases the spawn rate of special infecteds and hordes. Vice versa if the team is doing superb, the team are less likely to find medical supplies, weapons, ammo caches, and increases the spawn rate of the special infecteds and hordes. In addition, if one player is doing better than the rest of the team, the director changes the gameplay for the better player. The better player are more likely to be encountered with special infecteds than the team. Which actually happens a lot to me. However, be aware that you will find some people who will rush through campaigns and griefers (team-killing players). If you are lucky, you may encounter an experienced player that will help you through the campaign and teach you a few things. Overall, I profoundly recommend the game.
