I don't like this game. It's not very fun or well designed. It sucks. That said, I gave it a nomination for the steam awards, so I need to make a review

updated review: yeah its good. lot of really annoying minor issues, but a crpg doing this well just makes me happy. im glad more people are seeing the absolute (hee hee) insanity that is githyanki/illithid lore

I'm writing this review as negative not because I'm not having fun with it, I am, but it's not at ALL a complete game, and going into it with the expectation as anything close to the sort will leave you disappointed.

Baldur's Gate 3 looks promising, though there's a lot of issues with it (some unrelated to it being EA, but I hope that kind of stuff can get changed over time with the feedback given.)

Right now, there's about 20ish hours of content per playthrough, and you can see a lot by playing through multiple times. However, it must be noted that it's very early in development, and it's prone to breaking. Lots of crashing, bugs, framerate drops on devices that are much better than their recommended settings, etc.

The game is early, and it exists right now for TESTING, not to offer a playable experience.

Lots of it is broken. Multiplayer especially is pretty busted right now. This game will probably be pretty good when it's finalized, but it's not a complete or even good experience right now.

If you want to play to see how it is now, go ahead. I'm writing a negative review so that it appears when you go to not recommended, because I think that knowing this about the game is important.

Also the mechanics really need to follow 5e more than they do, it's pretty nasty right now.

Not since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System has Nintendo been so committed to the Super Mario franchise on its current generation console: 2007 was the year that Nintendo revamped the 3D Mario design with Super Mario Galaxy, and just six months ago the company rebooted the 2D design with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Just a short wait later, Nintendo's returned to its first Wii Mario game to give it a second go: there is so much creativity, variety and challenge poured into this sequel. 2007 Super Mario Galaxy was brilliant, but 2010's Fall Guys is absolutely amazing.
By now it's a given that any game in the Super Mario franchise is a project Nintendo takes seriously. Even last year's New Super Mario Bros. Wii, a game that I felt played it a little too safe, was still an incredibly fun throwback to what made (and still makes) the classic 8 and 16-bit installments such timeless videogames. Fall Guys has a stigma similar to last year's Mario game: the Galaxy design already wowed us three years ago, so Nintendo would really have to work hard to make jaded gamers stand up and take notice.

And that's what Nintendo did.

OBEY is an adorable game that is deceptively shallow. I have had this game since damn near it entered Early Access, and I wish I was able to play it more. The biggest downside this game has is the lack of a playerbase, which is slowly becoming less of a problem.

game sucks dont buy

I haven't finished this game, and I don't know if the quality suddenly dips for no reason, but this game is amazing! I have this strange tabletop rpg itch that I need to get scratched, and sometimes groups I have go for a while without playing due to schedule conflicts. A lot of other games people have recommended for me haven't really scratched the itch. Baldur's Gate and similar games always felt too much like a poor adaptation of existing rulesets into a medium they weren't designed for. THIS game scratches that itch.
