Very atmospheric, great sound design. Oddly cozy for a game with eldritch horrors watching you from under the waves.

A very cinematic game that builds a weird world reminiscent of the SCP Foundation. I loved consuming all the documents and media on the powerful anomalies the FBC hides from the rest of the world.

My only real complaint is availability of health. In combat, health can only be gained by killing enemies. No form of regeneration means it's easy to get kicked while you're down. Apart from that, I had a great time and can't wait to play the DLC.

Certifiably wild.

$14 for three costumes gated behind beyond-endgame level content. This DLC exposes the flaws of having fixed-level enemies in a game where the player is constantly levelling. Often the player is either too low level and gets one-shot after fighting the same enemy for five minutes, or too high level and breezes through everything; in my case, the former. I've finished endings A-E at level 58 (did most of the sidequests, no dedicated exp farming) and could get through the level 70 enemies well enough, but the fourth wave of level 80 enemies were all capable of one-shotting me and took next to no damage from my attacks. To top it off, I just learned there's a level 90 fight after that which must be completed for the outfits.

I have no problem tacking on another $14 to a game that threw me on such an enjoyable emotional rollercoaster, but it's hard to enjoy these DLC costumes when obtaining them would put you at a level that makes the base game's combat quick and dull.
