This is the game and this is the collection for starting this 20 year old franchise. Some pointers to better your experience through external stuff:

*Find a mod that removes the AI upscaled textures. If you aren't shaken by that part alone, it might please you to know it reduces thye total filesize by a LOT.
*358 Days/2 and Re:Coded are unfortunately cutscene collections instead of proper games. Luckily though, The DS games of the same names are worth a shot! And they aren't as lackluster as you'd assume. Watching the movies in this collection does give you rewards in Re:Chain of Memories and steam achievements, though, if you're shooting to 100% it all.
*Give the GBA Chain of Memories a try, too. Still not very barren, but it is a very different game in terms of gameplay and writing

Not any sort of Smash Bros. killer, but a neat casual experience for those who like the genre of Smash. It's sluggish but combo-heavy, so expect players doing a lot of hits just to KO.

An update, not proper sequel, to the alleged successor to TF2. It's the same as its always been, no story or gameplay to draw players in. it's like the Disney of FPS

Great update to the original, but if you come off of Risk of Rain 2 like I did, it's a different ballpark in comparison. Be prepared to make tight jumps!

Bloons TD games (& TD games in general) are fun time-wasters that don't ever feel like they WILL waste time. They provide unique and fun challenges, And Bloons TD 6 is no exception.
It gets updates quite often, too, so some of the challenge is keeping track of balance patches if you're at high-level play. That being said, it's got easier methods of play for most modes.

A maze-y metroidvania game which I feel has inspirations beyond what they say they are inspired from. I feel a sense of the DS era of games in it as well.
I personally find it too hard, though I don't know if because of its exploration aspect being a metroidvania, or it being too difficult for me to play. I played Normal difficulty.
Will likely be a good recommendation for better players, but it's not a good casual or accessible choice.

It's not just the original sets - This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how rusty your opponent is. Also get ready to learn some LONG card rules, buddy...

This game is a mixed bag. For the most part, it IS the same Cookie Clicker reboot from the web browser! But the shadow "really really hard" achievements, as far as I know, aren't available. If they are I'll edit this review with something at the top that'll say so.

I would totally recommend this though if you want to support the developers, or are an achievement hunter. Just as a game, it does offer a little bit less to the best of my knowledge.

An incremental idle game with a little more effort to put in. And luckily, it's not by clicking a bunch!

More or less, this is the Triple Triad minigame from FInal Fantasy 8. That doesn't mean it's not fun or doesn't twist it enough to be unique, but this game is pretty proud to wear the inspiration on their sleeve.
It's definitely pay-to-win, as are other card games that happen to be on mobile, but the abilities of certain cards can still help you win. Even if your opponent's a rich kid with all gold skins for their max level cards. Avoid those people if you can help it...
