Early Access Review
Hot damn. It's got that N64 Zelda vibe, but also, not in the slightest, because it's doing it's own thing. It's funny, it's action-packed, and it's varied as hell for such a indie title. I'm having a blast, and you should, too! Get the game, friends

Contemplative, funny, and mournful. I cannot put my thoughts into words about this game, it simply left me with feelings. I laughed, I got pretty scared, and I was left feeling a little bit empty. This is a truly artistic piece, where trying to boil it down to one simple message or "point" would do disservice to everything you're boiling away.

This game has been constantly patched since release. The fact that one of the top reviews is "too many bugs 😢" just goes to show how people never come back to games they've written off in their head. Also, I've literally yet to experience any bugs in this game. I thing some people just conflate bugs with their refusal to meet a game on its terms. This is a game about emotions, told slowly, with methodical gameplay you can become addicted to. This isn't a sprint; take your time, and allow yourself to get lost in this world.

I got lost in the cutscenes, shootouts, and vibes. Still have more to go, but it's the kind of game you'll easily find yourself lost in

A fun, vibrant, and creative adventure. Classic PS1 era graphics, spanning different graphics, genres, and tones. While a bit of an eclectic collection of levels, it all comes together as a lovable and charming indie game that you can bang out in a weekend. I recommend it to anyone who has any nostalgia for the classics, or is just looking for a unique and well made celebration of game design.

All the fun of a mobile action game, none of the shady practices. Vampire Survivors is what we all have always wanted out of a mindless destress game: Easy controls, no need for precision inputs, enough randomness to reward replays, but enough strategy to give the player something to learn/master. There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said, but if you're looking for the perfect game to play at the end of your day, something that will let you have fun and feel satisfied in your time spent with it, and not too complex that you can't have your own music, a video essay, or an audiobook playing in the background; this is the game for you.

A simple but fun mix of rogue-like, idle, and management game. The core is easy to understand, but as new elements and mechanics are introduced, your ability to improve and make your runs more efficient rises along with your understanding. Multiple playable characters with their own playstyle, meta-game item management to unlock new items and abilities in-game, and tile-combination bonuses you'll only learn about by experimenting. Give the game a try, and I'm sure you'll fall in love with its slow-pace action and deep systems begging to be explored.

I went into this game only seeing the trailers, thinking it was going to be an incredibly cinematic game detailing the harrowing journey of a group of the last remnants of humanity, doing whatever they cana to make it out alive.

In reality, Ellis picked up the shotgun I wanted, so I let him get ganked by a hunter and a spitter. 10/10, a good time was had by all.
