ASE Aberration was aesthetically breathtaking, fueling my excitement for ASA Aberration despite the optimization issues that haven't been fixed since release, and wow what a disappointment.

I'd argue this version looks WORSE than the original. They just threw a filter over everything, added an obnoxious amount of foliage, and called it a day. In ASE Aberration, the environment felt so grand despite being mostly underground. The ecosystem felt vibrant and colorful. With ASA, it's terribly dull and feels claustrophobic almost.

Also the map collisions are just atrocious. A lot of the ground, particularly by the water, you clip through constantly. In fact I softlocked myself by FALLING INSIDE OF A ROCK within 30 minutes of playing on this map.

The whole point of ASA is to be a visually stunning remaster of the original with a few QOL updates. I understand that ASA was always just a cash grab, but to actually downgrade from the original is plain insulting.
