This is not review of the game, this is a review of the Steam copy. Verdict: This seems to be the best version to purchase.
The base game and The Dark Castle DLC work DRM-free out of the box. The High Crimes DLC requires Steam to be running out of the box, but the Assembly-CSharp.dll can be easily patched (in about 3 minutes if you know where to look) using dnSpy to allow access to the content even when completely offline.

Servers seem to be down. Shame, I kinda liked it when it worked.

Game seems to be alright for the price, I guess, although there doesn't seem to be anything that would keep you hooked, unlike in, say, Typing of the Dead.
Does have some potential, but it's unfortunate the dev seems to be immature prick.

I honestly have to say I think I'd probably enjoy the game more if it was less puzzle-centric and more fight-centric, but for the waifus, soundtrack, final boss and unfair price (to developers) I have to give it 9/10 and recommend to everyone.

You probably already get my sentiment, but the end boss made me remember why I play videogames. Devs, thank you.

Game is really good, but there are unfortunately some bugs, even though this is a DC version. Probably the most annoying is that if you try to incapacitate NPC that has a dialog, they will die instantly in some cases. Another one is that after the final boss, trying to save or load results in a crash, at least for me.

I got this game free on Humble Bundle, but I'd say fifteen euros is fair price.

Fully completing the game took me about 9 hours, and that includes playing the 20 story levels and 10 bonus unlockable levels, and collecting 10 costumes, and I really enjoyed the whole time I played this game.

[+] If I had to point out one thing, it would be the amazing soundtrack. The tunes are all just perfect. The 70s aesthethic and cell-shaded artstyle are awesome and gorgeous, and the level design is just incredibly cool.

[+] The stealth itself is basicaly flawless too. It might be on the easier side (most enemies forget they ever saw you, you can hide when in their sight, only five types of enemies), but there are many interesting completion challenges that pose new ways to play.

[?] The challenges are sadly one of my biggest letdowns, because the game gives you no incentive to play them whatsoever, even though they are very smart and fun. Even small badge on the level selection screen would be enough to motivate players.

[?] Also, the story has perfect length (20 levels), but I wouldn't mind having more bonus levels to play. This might have been solved with map creator and community levels, but it is sadly not, and you are stuck with 30, if gorgeous and fun, levels. With community levels, I would say even 20 or 25 euros would be reasonable, because the playtime would increase infinitely.

[-] As my third gripe I would say that there is no indication whether you've collected the collectible on any given level, which sucks for obvious reasons. Small badge on level selection screen would, again, be enough.

[-] Lastly, and this is really minor thing, the indicator square when hidden is blinking too fast for my taste, because it does not fit the slow pace of the game.

Overall, this game is absolute piece of art, and I wouldn't mind spending 20 or 30 more hours in community levels (if there were any) or challenges (if there was any incentive).

Just buy it.
Both singleplayer and multiplayer offer huge amount of fun.
