Dota 2 is a great game, and a lot of people compare it to LoL. Some say it's better, others say it isn't. From my perspective, because I've played more games, LoL is a lot easier to play, with less controls to worry about. However, I find Dota offers a more variety of different things that ;LoL doesn't have (e.g. fun ultimates, denying, heroes with more than 4 abilities, interesting interactions, etc.) I would definitely recommend Dota, but only to gamers who are a bit more serious and don't want to spend money to buy all the heroes.
