I started playing back in the Wilderness Alpha and Pax Dei has grown to become my new favourite game. Why you may ask?

I truly love this game not only for the great foundation it has already established but for what's to come in the future

Let's get into it, the game has received some criticism on release and honestly Mainframe has done a spectacular job in engaging with the community and providing consistent updates on what's going on behind the scenes

Is this game for everyone? No probably not but if you love survival games then Pax Dei will fit perfectly with you. Survival games tend to lack multiplayer and a sense of community and what Pax Dei has done well from my perspective is that it offers you a wide open world and you can do whatever you want and what excites me the most is the fact that you can run into thousands of players on the shard you are playing on. I do not recommend playing Pax Dei solo however as you will need to work as a community to achieve things.

You have deep character progression systems and the fact that you have to work for the things that you want is exceptionally rewarding

The roadmap is exciting and there are some great things in store in the future in the economy and civilization updates to come
